UdderLife™ OptiShield™ Teat Sealant

UdderLife™ OptiShield™ teat sealant is a sterile, antibiotic-free, off-white smooth paste used to aid in the prevention of new intramammary infections throughout the dry period by providing a malleable barrier in the teat canal. The product comes in a ready-to-use syringe containing 4g of intramammary infusion composed of 65% bismuth subnitrate in a mineral oil base. The UdderLife™ OptiShield™ teat sealant tube allows for minimal air when administered, forming a solid plug seal in the streak canal. The tube also features a partial insertion tip, which means less error of placing the tip too far inside the teat.

This product is available in 144 tubes per pail, providing teat sealant for 36 cows.

RumiLife® Electrolyte M™ Nutritional SupplementRumiLife® Electrolyte M™ nutritional supplement is a ready-to-use oral electrolyte formulated for mature cattle that helps maintain normal hydration, electrolyte balance and dry matter intake. The RumiLife® Electrolyte M™ supplement contains dextrose, sucrose and lactose for energy. It also contains glycine, a key amino acid vital for electrolyte absorption, as it drives potassium and sodium back into the cells. It is available in a 50 lb. box which contains two 25 lb. bags.

It's never too early to prepare for summer!During periods of high heat, cattle reduce feed intake, bout feed, sort feed and reduce activity levels. As cattle change their behavior to cope with heat, many physiological effects take place. With the inability to sweat enough to cool off, cattle turn to panting and drooling. While panting and drooling, cattle lose bicarbonate (HCO3) and phosphate buffers, which can lead to rumen acidosis.

One of the most negative physiological changes is the alteration of blood flow. Blood flow usually used for milk production and digestion is rerouted to the animal’s exterior and used to help cool the animal, causing a decrease in milk production and digestion.1

Designed to drive water intake, this highly palatable, potassium-packed electrolyte can help cattle stay on track to beat the heat.

UdderLife™ Mint-eez™ Udder Edema Lotion and SprayUdderLife™ Mint-eez™ udder edema lotion and spray is a blend of natural plant oils used to maintain optimal cow udder health, particularly in cows experiencing mastitis or swelled udders caused by freshening. The blend of natural plant oils - mentha arvenis (mint), calendula oil and tea tree oil - has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties that work to increase blood flow in the udder to better fight infections. It also works as an analgesic to sooth and soften the udder.

The natural herbal products help reduce udder edema that can damage mammary supportive ligaments and shorten milking longevity. These products also allow for better milk letdown and easier milking unit attachment.

RumiLife® CAL24™ Nutritional SupplementRumiLife® CAL24™ nutritional supplement is a uniquely formulated bolus product to promote calcium levels in cows. It features 100g of calcium: a mixture of calcium chloride for immediate release and a combination of naturally found seaweed-derived calcium and magnesium for a long-lasting sustained release. RumiLife® CAL24™ nutritional supplement also contains vitamin D to maximize absorption and utilization of calcium important for the first 24 hours after calving and other times associated with low calcium levels.

NuLife® ReBOUND™ is a stabilized source of lactic acid bacteria that helps maintain normal appetite and digestion. Feed to cows as a preventive or during ration changes, sickness, following calving, shipping and receiving, weather changes and following antibiotic treatments.

Push™ Calf Nutritional Paste Push™ nutritional paste is a blend of highly digestible proteins and energy components developed to help jumpstart and support the immune system of a newborn calf before colostrum is given. The globulin proteins and high energy components help cleanse a calf’s intestinal tract and energize the immune system. The recommended dosage rate is one tube (30cc). If needed, a second tube can be given 12 hours later. Available in boxes of 12 tubes.

NuLife® Oral ElectrolyteNuLife® Oral Electrolyte is a supplement for calves to help combat dehydration due to scours. This supplement works to replenish lost fluids, electrolytes and energy. It can be mixed with milk, milk replacer or water. Administer 100g twice daily for two days. Continue feeding milk or milk replacer for efficient recovery, and provide water at all times. Available in 100g pouch or 44 lb. box. Each 44 lb. box contains two 22 lb. bags at 100 feedings each.

NuLife® Pre 14-14 ProgramFeed a low dose of electrolytes in water for 14 days. Add 14g to a quart of warm water and offer it at the midday feeding.
