Product spotlight No. 35 Sheathed-element glow plug range expanded for Japanese diesel vehicles Bosch has included 16 new types of sheathed-element glow plugs into the com- mercial and workshop product range. This product range expansion focuses on diesel cars made by the Japanese manufacturers Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota. But vehicles of European brands are also covered by the new product types. The new glow plugs – 8 Duraterm and 8 Duraterm High Speed – are included both in the Bosch workshop software ESI[tronic] 2.0, as well as in the electronic parts catalog TecDoc. The advantage for the workshop is that the market coverage, which is already quite extensive, increases by more than 8 %. The workshop range for the IAM (Independent Aftermarket) thus matches with the original equipment range. The Bosch glow plug range will be continuously expanded to include new types.
