This kit employs a special Binding Solution in combination with an AxyPrep spin column to achieve high selectivity and recovery of DNA fragments. This product is designed to purify DNA fragments longer than 75 bp from PCRs and other enzy-matic reactions, with an expected recovery of 70-90%. Each column has a binding capacity of up to 8 µg. The purified DNA fragments are suitable for a variety of applications, such as sequencing, ligation, restriction analysis, in vitro transcrip-tion, microinjection and microarrays.

AxyPrep™ PCR Cleanup Kit

This kit employs a modified alkaline lysis method in combination with an optimized 96-well lysate filtration plate and an alcohol pre-cipitation step to purify plasmid and cosmid DNA from bacterial cultures. Sealing mats and sealing film from Labcon are made to reduce evaporation when cycling plates. Reusable silicone mats fit most brands of 96 well PCR plates and can be cleaned and reused. Autoclavable at 121°C.

384 well PCR plates are made for high throughput thermo-cycling applications. These plates are very flexible and skirted to allow bar coding. Each plate includes alpha nu-meric labelling with a frosted labelling area. Each well holds 25μL and has smooth inner walls for rapid heat transfer. Slightly raised walls seal with films or foils. Autoclavable. Made of polypropylene.

These heavy deep well plates feature printed alpha numeric labelling and smooth inside surfaces to ensure that all the sample can be pipetted. They are designed to be manipu-lated by robots and can be autoclaved and sealed using film or mats. Freezable -90°C.

Filter Tips

Sequencing Reaction Cleanup

Montage and MultiScreen Sequencing Reaction Cleanup products incorporate patented size-exclusion membrane to yield highly purified sequencing reaction products. In addi-tion to eliminating centrifugation steps, filter plates do not require filtrate collection or column packing. Available in 96- and 384-well formats, the plates follow a vacuum-driven protocol, and are automation compatible. Size-exclusion technology eliminates variability in sequencing reaction cleanup. Because there is no alcohol precipitation, there is no risk of salts or ethanol affecting final sequencing results. Pass rates are consistently high and results are reproduci-ble.
