Since its origins in specialist hard plasters for squash courts - a reminder of the unrelenting punishment the material can take - Armourcoat has gone on to create a revival of interest in the ancient technique of polished plaster. The company was quick to see the potential for an attractive, hard wearing, luxury finish that is equally suited to modern and traditional interiors.

Today, the company has grown and diversified into a wider range of decorative surface finishes. Through an ongoing research and development programme, Armourcoat are able to offer products which provide quality surface finish solutions for all decorative design and application requirements. For the architect and designer, Armourcoat products present a wealth of creative potential. For the client, they offer a comfortable, more durable interior, healthy to live in, less costly to maintain and helping protect the environment. Many of our product lines are made from natural minerals, including recycled marble powder. Being inherently variable, we go to great lengths to ensure the quality and consistency of all our finished products.

Armourcoat’s range of polished plaster combines ancient skill with modern materials and carefully refined application techniques, creating a stunning choice of polished plaster finishes, unsurpassed in hardness and quality.

The natural, trowel applied finishes give the appearance of an exquisite seamless stone surface. 290 beautiful colours and finishes can be used individually, in contrast or combined with blockwork or banded techniques to create a range that is limited only by the imagination.

Designers can choose from the standard colour palette or custom colours can be created and matched on request.

Armourcoat Sculptural is a range of seamless sculptural wall surface designs.

Armourcoat Sculptural walls are constructed from a series of precast panels that are bonded to the substrate. The panel joints are then filled and sanded and a final decoration is applied to the surface.

Armourcoat Sculptural designs are created by combining computer-aided design with traditional hand sculpting to create designs that fit together with total accuracy yet retain the essence of being hand crafted.

Some of the designs are based on a single panel that creates a repeating pattern; others are made from a sequence of different panels that can be integrated together in many different ways to create totally unique sculpted walls. The multiple panel designs make it possible to create non-repetitive seamless sculptural walls where the designs flow and change across the surface just as in nature. As a consequence, no two walls need ever be the same.

ArmourColor comprises of two finishes, each offering a seamless hardwearing, creative and inspirational design alternative to paint, wallpaper and vinyl wall coverings.

The ArmourColor range can create the perfect interior for all functional and design requirements, and make ideal wall coatings for commercial and residential use, particularly in high traffic areas. Highly versatile and robust, the finishes are scrub resistant, resistant to bacterial growth and comply with all fire classification requirements. Producing impressive interiors which combine colour and durability, they add personality to any space.

A unique stone finish casting product, ArmourCast produces stunning textures and effects with the look and feel of stone. These hard and durable castings, although lightweight, can reproduce almost any architectural shape that can be made in conventional GRG.

ArmourCast is a unique composition of crushed limestone, marble and gypsum. The material and manufacture process are ideally suited to creating shapes and designs that are too complex for a hand applied finish. Available in a range of natural stone colours, crushed marble powders combined in varying proportions create natural tones without pigment.

Armourcoat offer a full technical service from design to manufacture and installation, to produce custom designs such as modular solutions for shop-fitting applications, to original sculptures and ornaments.

Available in twelve natural colours, ArmourCast can be finished in either a honed or fissured effect. The honed finish creates a smooth marbleised effect, with a dense, compacted surface, creating the appearance and feel of lightly polished stone. The fissured effect gives the appearance of a monolithic stone surface or a natural stone block.
