ASTERSA is a company dedicated to the design and production of solar thermal collectors and their support structures as well as the distribution of major components for any type of solar thermal installation.
ASTERSA has the most advanced technological means and production systems completely automated with an annual production capacity of 222.000 m2
(154 MW) of Solar Thermal Collectors for hot water applications (ACS), heating systems, industrial hot water, heating of swimming pools etc.
The expansion of ASTERSA turned it into one of the reference manufacturers in Spain and, since 2009, it has begun its market penetration internationally. Today ASTERSA has customers in countries such as Germany, Austria, France, Ireland, Mexico or the United Arab Emirates, among others.
The main customers of ASTERSA are large warehouses and distribution chains, and it is also working closely with Architecture and Engineering Studios.
ASTERSA has a technical department with a staff that is specialized in the calculation and design of solar systems, providing technical consulting to our clients, both in project design as well as in installation and operation of the systems. Some of the services provided by the Technical Department are the following:
Preliminary studies and initial analysis of the project
Carrying out engineering calculations and simulations
Analysis and evaluation of results
Development of basic engineering schemes of installations and systems
Presentation of complete feasibility studies, with parts list, cost calculation and estimates of consumption and emissions reduction Preparation of installation and mounting manuals of different equipment and products
The collaboration between our Technical Department and our clients enables the selection of the best technical solutions for each project, thereby ensuring that the components of the installations are the most suitable for each practical application.
R+D
ASTERSA has a R+D+i department with highly qualified staff and with experience in the sector dedicated exclusively to the investigation and development of new products and to the improvement of existing products. For this purpose the R+D+i department has the corresponding installations such as various solar circuits completely monitorized, where prototypes and products are subjected to tests.

►THERMOSYPHON KITS
ASTERSA Thermosyphon compact kits are made of first quality elements. High performance solar collectors, accumulators in steel vitrified by hot immersion and robust structures made up of anodized aluminum or galvanized steel manufactured under the DIN4753 for any type of roof. This solar kit is completed by a wide range of accessories included for an easy assembly and connection to the secondary system. Our kits have been tested under the European Norm EN 12967, which guarantees a correct functioning and long lasting quality of the entire system.

►FORCED CIRCULATION SYSTEMS WITH DOUBLE VITRIFIED STEEL ACCUMULATOR TANKS
ASTERSA forced circulation systems with double vitrified steel accumulator tanks developed for an easy installation with high performance. Solar collector of high efficiency, accumulators of double glass lined steel according to DIN 4753 with finishing for outdoors (optional) and resistant structures made of anodized aluminum for any type of roof. The control system is integrated in the solar station, which also includes a circulating pump, safety set, and filling/emptying system with manual injection, expansion vessels and all accessories that are necessary for a guaranteed connection.
