About Us

COJOT has over 30 years of experience in developing and manufacturing wideband antennas for Tactical Communications, Electronic Countermeasure (ECM)and Monitoring applications. More than 90 percent of our production is exported for use worldwide – serving the defense and public safety markets.

Based in Finland, COJOT is recognized as a pioneer and leading manufacturer of innovative wideband antennas for portable, vehicle and fixed-siteapplications, covering VHF, UHF and SHF bands.

Since April 2016, COJOT has been part of Alaris Holdings, a South African technology holding company listed on the JSE AltX. As part of the Alaris group COJOT isable to call on a broad range of antenna types from its sister companies Alaris Antennas and mWave Industries;

● Alaris Antennas (Head office in Centurion, South Africa) – expertise in products including Direction Finding (DF), Monitoring, Communication, Log PeriodicDipole Arrays (LPDA), Masts and supporting RF Electronics.

● mWave Industries (based in Windham, Maine, USA) – a leading global provider of innovative custom and Commercial microwave antenna solutions withspecial focus on 40 – 110GHz.

We take pride in our values of pursuit of customer satisfaction, integrity, excellence and commitment and it is our aim to provide the perfect equipment toimprove our customers’ radio coverage, connectivity and competitiveness.

Certified Quality

Each manufactured antenna undergoes a performance acceptance testbefore shipment to the customer. COJOT has ISO9001:2015 certification. Our technically skilled engineers, R&D laboratory, advanced simulationtools and our own test facilities, including a fully anechoic chamber and anopen-air measurement track, combined with an extended network ofexternal test facilities ensure that each product complies with the requiredspecifications and quality.

SMART Antennas - Mission Adaptive Antennas

COJOT Mission Adaptive Antennas are matched based on controlled band switching, where the frequency band is split into smaller slots and each slot ismatched separately. The RF signal is connected through the most optimal matching circuit using RF switches and fast control logic. This switching technologyis compatible with frequency hopping. The active matching is controlled by the radio or autonomously by the antenna. The control signal and supply voltageare fed to the antenna through the antenna connector or through a separate data connector.

Advantages over passively matched antennas:

● Better link budget● Improved radio coverage● Extended communication range● Higher interference rejection● Lower power consumption● Smaller visual signature

If you can’t find the right antenna to your RF system needs, then please feel free to get in contact with us.

ATA3090M Autonomous tunable vehicle VHF antenna 50 30 90

Page 6: Product Catalogue : 18 March 2020

Autonomous Tunable Vehicular VHF AntennaATA3090M

The ATA3090M is an autonomous tunable antenna for the 30 to 90 MHz frequency band that does not require any external control. It therefore offers a perfect solution to easily enhance existing radio systems.

This low profile antenna tunes automatically to use the optimum matching circuitry at the required frequency. The ATA3090M provides superior gain performance over traditional wideband antennas.

• No external control required - Easy upgrade for current radio systems

• Low profile antenna with superior gain performance - Gives up to 6dB better gain compared to a traditional passively matched antenna of same size

• Easy installation – Mechanically compatible with NATO / US pattern mounts

• Link budget improvement – Better gain and signal-to-noise ratio
