Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<< Hose is made from tough Polyurethane with Dacron Polyester Braiding for additional reinforcement.Most other hoses consist of an inner tube, braiding and an outer cover that eventually lose their adhesion due the bending, flexing,expansion and contraction that occur during normal use. This separation of the layers is the most common cause for hose failure.Unlike these other hoses, Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<< is extruded in a way that the inner tube, braiding and outer cover cannotcome apart. This means that >>Superbraid<< will not break down and its integrity is not compromised over time, assuring along life of trouble free use.

Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<< is very lightweight, our 3/8˝ x 50´ hose assembly (the most popular size) is more than 20%lighter than similar hose assemblies from other manufacturers, so it’s easy to carry around, yet tough enough to be draggedalong the ground without getting damaged. Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid’s<< extreme flexibility and ability to lay out flat withoutkinking or looping make it the most user-friendly hose available. Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<< retains these characteristics evenin cold environments (down to -40° F!).

Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<< features rugged fittings made from corrosion resistant brass that will withstand the roughesttreatment. Our contemporary looking state-of-the-art strain relief sleeve protects the hose at its weakest point (at the barb) whileenhancing the appearance of the entire assembly. Other manufacturers use a strain relief that limits the ability of the hose to bend,but ours was specifically designed to take advantage of Polyurethane’s flexibility, giving the user a much wider range of motionwithout the possibility of kinking.

In the field fitting replacement is made quick and easy with our Reusable Fittings (available with or without Spring Guards) that needonly two wrenches for installation. In addition, these fitting do not require inserts or ferrules that can be deformed duringinstallation, so the fittings can be used over and over again without replacing any components! Ultra-Lite >>Superbraid<<can also be repaired with commercially available hose barbs and any standard hose clamping system to make in the fieldreplacement easy and safe in case of an emergency where our Reusable Fittings are not readily available.

Our state-of-the-artSpring Guard design provides hose protection while takingadvantage of Polyurethane’s flexibility, which allows theuser to bend and flex with little resistance.

The Spring Guard on our Reusable Fitting is permanentlyattached to the Nut to assure a safe and secure assemblythat won’t come apart during use. These Reusable Fittingsfeature the same state-of-the-art Spring Guard design asour factory attached barb fittings, with the addedadvantage of easy in the field installation.
