ResourcesFamiliarizing yourself to the resources available is a key step in ensuringyour ability to properly perform your job in a safe manner. This includesPPE available, cleaning materials available, first-aid equipment available,safety material and signage.
Procedure Changes (subject to change in accordance to Interior Healthand Worksafe BC)- Reduced customer volume to 50- Physical distancing to ensure 6 feet between customers- Additional PPE for staff including gloves and masks- Sanitation schedule for all equipment in accordance with Interior Health- Cashless transaction- Limit time continuously spent on water park to reduce potentialexposure
Understand where high traffic areas are to help assist traffic flow and lower risk of customers and staff coming into unnecessarycontact with each other

Cashless transactions arehighly recommendedwhenever possible.Cashless transactionsprovide minimal contactand help reduce furtherspread of potentiallyharmful bacteria.Transactions can also bedirected online atSplashBC.ca, thisessentially allowscontactless transactions.

It is essential all guidelinesset out by Interior Healthand Worksafe BC arefollowed. As theseguidelines may changedepending on the severityof current situations pleaserefer to the most currentguide at interiorhealth.ca.Inaddition to these guidelinesrecommended water parkroutes will be posted foreach location.

Personal ProtectiveEquipment
It is important to not onlyprotect our customers, butalso yourself. Always wearappropriate PPE and voiceany concerns tomanagement. This includeslow inventory of supplies,feeling unwell, and anyobservation of othersshowing symptoms thatmay be harmful to others.

In practicing good sanitation and personal health it is important that we remainself aware and aware of our social/ physical surroundings.
Socially and Physically Aware - We do not always know others health conditions,work environment, or personal care habits, this is why we should error on theside of caution. Practices to implement are: asking permission before attendingto a customer, sanitize hands frequently when coming into contact withcustomers and throughout shift, always wear appropriate personal protectiveequipment when making contact with a patient, keep all work areas clean andfrequently sanitized, respect others space when possible.By implementing these practices and others listed with help us, along with all ofthose we come into contact with, to lower risk to all.

Additional Procedures
In the case the Water Parkcapacity is limited lower dueto rules set out in responseto COVID-19, it is essentialthat these capacity limitsare followed exactly.
To further improvesanitation practices lifejackets will be sanitizedeach morning andthroughout the day, refer tothe operational procedurefor cleaning agent used andfrequency of use.
To limit our spread andexposure to the virus we willnot be accepting cashpayments unless absolutelynecessary.
Office staff arerecommended to clean andsanitize their work areafrequently, refer to thestandard operatingprocedure for therecommended frequency ofcleaning.
