When choosing the installation site, make sure that
bright ceiling light, light reflections and direct sunlight shining on the screen areavoided,
the requirements concerning ambient conditions can be met (see chapter "Appendixsection "Technical data"),
existing underfloor heating, energy and/or communication cables, etc., are notdamaged when drilling the mounting holes.
If necessary, appropriate arrangements must be made.

Tear-off sensor
All safes, installation frames and installation racks have holes for mounting aoff sensor.
To ensure that the tear-off sensor can be mounted after the device has been installehole for the tear-off sensor has to be drilled at the time the installation frame or theinstallation rack is mounted.
To be able to mount the tear-off sensor, the hole has to be cleaned with a vacuum cland an anchor bolt (e.g. UPAT multicone, Fischer resin cartridge R M) has to be inse
Thus the alarm technician will be able to mount the tear-off sensor in the safe easily the device is installed (see also illustration "Mounting structure with CEN III, CEN IV
safe" or "Mounting structure with UL safe" in the corresponding sections of the chapt"Installation").
Ask your alarm technician about the size of the hole and the cartridge. The mountingmaterial (threaded rod, cartridge) is to be provided by the alarm technician. The lengthe threaded rod depends on the installation frame or the installation rack you use (schapter "Installation").

Power and data cables
General information
When the cables enter the device from below, make sure that the cables cannobe sheared off when the system is moved.
To connect the device, power and data cables are required. In standard deliveries, theconnections for all the device's power and data cables are situated near the cable feedopening of the safe. The additional power cable that is provided has a standard length o2.5 m (8.2 ft). Other ready-to-use lengths of power and data cables can be ordered ifneeded via the hardware configurator or must be provided by the customer. Please refeto the corresponding illustrations in this guide for the positioning of the cables.
To lay the cables inside the installation frame or rack and in the safe, filling pieces mayremoved so that cable sets can be inserted in the cable feed openings (see drawing). These filling pieces must then be replaced after the cables have been installed. The caexit points in the floor must be kept clear to ensure that the cables are not bent ordamaged.
Make sure that the cables provided on-site are long enough to be laid through tinstallation frame or through the installation rack into the safe.

Installing the installation frame
Observe the required maintenance space when positioning the device and thinstallation frame (see chapter "Planning the Installation", section "Requiredoperation and maintenance space").
Make sure that the clearance between the vents and the wall is at least50 m(1.97") (53 mm(2.09") in relation to the installation frame).
Align the installation frame and mark the holes for mounting the installation frame

When using the CEN frame for CEN safes:
How the CEN frame is secured depends on the resistance level (III or IV/the safe (see also the note accompanying the illustration "Position of themm (0.98") CEN frame").
The security level is noted on the inside of the safe door.
If a tear-off sensor is to be installed as agreed with the financial institutio

Installation with 222 mm (8.74") installation frame
Installing the installation frame
Observe the required maintenance space when positioning the device and thinstallation frame (see chapter "Planning the Installation", section "Requiredoperation and maintenance space").
Make sure that the clearance between the vents and the wall is at least50 m(1.97") (53 mm(2.09") in relation to the installation frame).
Align the installation frame and mark the holes for mounting the installation frame
illustrations below).
When using the CEN frame for CEN safes:
How the CEN frame is secured depends on the resistance level (III or IV/the safe (see also the note accompanying the illustration "Position of the222 mm (8.74") CEN frame").
The security level is noted on the inside of the safe door.
If a tear-off sensor is to be installed as agreed with the financial institutio
