Based around the popular Pro model blokart ® the Pro HD (Heavy Duty) has been significantly strengthened to cope with the punishing rental environment. This will reduce maintenance costs and downtime offering a safe, trouble-free service for customers. It will also help retain a good resale value for when rental operators turn-over their karts. The blokart ® HD Sails, available only to commercial operations, will have modifications focused on durability, flexibility in various wind ranges and ease of use. Pro HD

Introducing the Pro HD blokart®, developed specifically for Rental / Commercial operators.

Based around the popular Pro model blokart® the Pro HD (Heavy Duty) has been significantly strengthened to cope with the punishing rental environment.

This will reduce maintenance costs and downtime offering a safe, trouble-free service for customers. It will also help retain a good resale value for when rental operators turn-over their karts.

The blokart® HD Sails, available only to commercial operations, will have modifications focused on durability, flexibility in various wind ranges and ease of use.

Commercially focused accessories will be available in the near future.

• Compression strut o The compression struct triangulates the front of the frame with the rear

absorbing stress from the keel and the main chassis rails creating a stiffer, more durable chassis.

o The compression strut is adjustable with an internal lurethane dampener.

• Mast base

o The mast base wire eye and down haul mount area have been replaced with a stainless steel spine running from the top of the tiller intersection to the top of the mast base.

o This spine offers greatly increased resistance to the mast base deformation after multiple capsizes.

o The spine also offers a tougher and more serviceable mounting point for the downhaul and the main sheet pulley.

o The Mast base also carries a mount for the new Compression Strut.

• Floor

o The floor tray has been replaced by 2 panels set in from the chassis rails for easy drainage and cleaning reducing entrapped sand and possible corrosion.

• Seat o The Pro HD has been fitted with a mesh seat for easy draining and quick drying. o For future servicing the mounting design means the seat can be easily removed

and refitted without drilling or rivets

• Keel o The keel tube has an additional GRP sleeve fitted internally. This sleeve

increases the yield strength of the keel by approximately 30% ensuring the keel remains straight and steering smooth.

o The keel tube also carries a mount for the compression strut.

• Struts o The 304 Stainless Steel Struts have

increased to 22.5mm. This has given the struts an increased yield of 30%

• Grips

o The standard grips are replaced with locking hand grips for added security and durability, particularly in wet conditions.

• Fasteners o Fasteners around the backrest and struts have increased length to allow for lock

nuts. Reducing the likelihood of fasteners coming loose on rough surfaces. o The keel spring button has been replaced by a bolt making it an integral /rigid

part of the chassis. o Where practical, quick release pins are replaced with bolts for karts that are

intended on staying fully assembled the majority of the time. o Almost all rivets have been designed out of the karts to help with future servicing

• Gaskets o rubber gaskets are supplied for the axle openings at the spring button and axle

openings to reduce the sand and water getting in that can create wear on components.

• Wheel Options o The Pro HD is available with standard 4.00 - 6 rear and 12 ½ x 2 ¼ front tire

configuration or can be supplied with an upgrade to 15 x 6.00 – 6 tires on the rear and the big fork on the front with the 4.00 x 6 configuration.

• HD Sail

o Full Dacron Sail, the mono film leach panel has been replaced by a Dacron leach panel. And a wider Dacron leach reinforcing patch added for great long term durability, giving the HD sails the edge on durability for the long hours in the weather and Ultra Violet light.

o Batten tensioners – A simple robust strap lock system has been used on the HD sails to secure the battens

o Fair leads – The current sails have 2 webbing loops and a SS eye on the foot of the sail as a guide for the main sheet (fair leads). The HD sails have a SS ring at all 3 guide points.

o New 5.0m Flat Top - Along with these modifications we are also introducing a new sail size specifically for Rental / Commercial operators, the 5.0m Flat top. The 5.0m sail utilises the same mast configuration as the 4.0m sail (5 sections) making storage of rigged sails easier while offering similar light-wind performance as the 5.5m sail.

• Bag o The Pro HD kart and sails are supplied excluding bags to help offset the

additional costs involved in the up graded features.

Important: The modifications to the Keel, Mast Base, Struts and Sails do NOT qualify for Blokart 1 Design racing under IBRA rules. These components must be replaced for racing.
