Our approach to pricing

No two patients are the same. Neither are treatments.

For many services, we can and do offer a fixed fee. But for other treatments, this simply isn’t possible.

With so many materials, treatment methods, approaches and desired outcomes it is difficult to provide an accurate estimate

without first meeting and consulting with you.

In our experience, the most effective and successful treatments have three things in common: a high quality assessment and

diagnosis, an informed patient and a common understanding between clinician and patient of the desired outcome.

That’s why we normally ask you to attend a consultation and discussion prior to treatment. We often don’t quote for a treatment

without seeing a patient, because we can’t.

You can be assured of a detailed estimate before your treatment commences. For more complex procedures this includes an extensive

plan and report. This allows for treatment which is bespoke to you and your individual needs.

Our prices reflect the quality of care we provide and the level of investment needed to sustain this. Patients can take advantage of

our Membership scheme to spread the cost of their routine dental care, and 0% APR Representative finance is available on many

treatments.

We believe in transparency and consistency in fees. Our Pricing Guide sets out the fees we charge for our most common

treatments and services. In many cases, the fee will depend on the precise requirements of the patient and where this is the case

fees are indicated as ‘From’.

Initial Consultation A detailed consultation with a dental surgeon where your dental health will be thoroughly assessed and you will have the opportunity to discuss any queries you may have. Includes all intra-oral x-rays for the appointment. Normally it will be possible to provide a treatment estimate for simple treatments during this time. In more complex situations it may be necessary to arrange further consultations – additional fees will apply.

Routine Consultation A standard consultation with a dental therapist or dental surgeon where your dental health will be checked and you will have the opportunity to talk through any concerns or problems you may have. Includes all intra-oral x-rays for the appointment. For members, this fee Includes all intra-oral x-rays for the appointment.

Implant Initial Consultation A detailed consultation with an implantologist where you will have an extensive examination and the opportunity to discuss options for dental implant treatment. Fee includes an OPG examination where required.

Emergency Consultation (Unregistered Patients) An urgent consultation with a dental surgeon for unregistered patients. Includes the cost of any prescriptions, any treatment carried out during the consultation and all intra-oral x-rays for the appointment. Additional treatment incurs extra charges.

Emergency Extraction (Unregistered Patients) An emergency extraction of a tooth carried out by a dental surgeon for unregistered patients. Includes the cost of any prescriptions and all intra-oral x-rays for the appointment. Additional treatment incurs extra charges. This fee is charged in place of an Emergency Consultation fee.

Intra-Oral X-Ray An intra-oral x-ray (also known as a ‘small’ x-ray) taken for patients who are not Members.

Computerised Tomography (CT) Examination A digital 3D scan of your teeth and jaw, used for diagnostic purposes in advanced situations. Includes report. CT Scans are carried out in Colwyn Bay.

Routine Hygienist Consultation A standard consultation with a dental hygienist. Includes a thorough exam of your periodontal condition, advanced cleaning of your teeth and gums and oral health advice.

Includes a thorough exam of your periodontal condition, advanced cleaning of your teeth and gums and detailed oral health advice and assessment.

Advanced Periodontal Treatment Advanced treatment for gum health and periodontal disease prescribed by a dental surgeon and normally carried out by a dental hygienist or dental therapist.

Porcelain Bonded Bridge A treatment used to replace missing teeth with artificial teeth supported by remaining natural teeth. Porcelain bonded bridges normally require the support of two healthy teeth at either side and are constructed with porcelain bonded to a metal framework. Final price will be dependent on the number of units required.

Porcelain Bonded Crown (Non-Precious Metal) A crown is used to restore a significantly damaged or broken down tooth. Constructed from porcelain bonded to non-precious metal. The porcelain provides a cosmetic, natural appearance.

Endodontics Endodontic procedures, also known as root canal treatments, are used to save teeth which would otherwise require

extraction and replacement. Normally endodontically treated teeth will require advanced restorations post procedure

such as a crown or an onlay.

Note some of our clinicians charge higher fees to reflect enhanced experience and expertise in this field.
