Ramgarh is a small hill station and tourist destination on way to

Mukteshwar in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand, India. It stands at

a height of 5900 ft. This place is rich in fruit orchards and provides an

unobstructed view of the snow-capped ranges of the Himalayas. The

famous poets Rabindra Nath Tagore and social worker Narain Swami

had established their ashrams over here. The writers Ramdhari Singh

'Dinkar' and Sachchidananda Hirananda Vatsyayan, famous by his

pen-name "Agyeya" also lived here. There is an entire library dedicated

to famous Hindi poet writer Mahadevi Varma, who got the idea of

writing Lachma, the famous story over here in Ramgarh.

If you are coming from either Haldwani or from Tanda-Kala Dungi road, head towards Bhowali

and from Bhowali take the road which goes to Malla Ramgarh. As soon as you reach Malla

Ramgarh, take a sharp hairpin left before the market on the road which goes down to the Dak

Bungalow/ Neemrana Bungalow. Go down this road all the way to the end where the metaled

road ends at the entrance of the Neemrana Ramgarh Bungalows. There is a path going down

towards Seclude with tall trees on either side. Park just here and walk towards Seclude

The nearest railway station is Kathgodam Railway Station and is 53 Kms away which is a one-and-a-half-hour drive. Taxis are easily available and can be arranged as well.

There is a common parking area about 200 meters walk from the property.

AccessibilitySince Seclude Ramgarh is located on a steep cliff and is as off track as you can get. It requires a walk of 200m along a trail and VOILA.. you’ve arrived. The property has 60 odd steps top to bottom. All the rooms offer stunning views.

The nearest domestic airport is “Pant Nagar” and the nearest International Airport is Delhi. Pant Nagar Airport is 76 kms away (a three-hour drive) and Delhi Airport is 341 kms which is a 7-hour drive away.

Seclude Ramgarh is a beautiful 7-hour drive from Delhi through villages and moun-tains. It is about 2 hours from Haldwani and only 1 hour away from Mukteshwar and Nainital.

An exclusive space consisting of 3 bedrooms namely Simha,

Kartik and Megha, en suite bathrooms, along with a living

cum dining area and an independent entrance. You won’t

have to worry about sharing your space with strangers, your

privacy or social distancing. From all the 3 rooms, you can

witness unobstructed views of valley.

Another private space in Seclude Ramgarh would be the

corner rooms, Sharath and Hemant each with en suite bath-

rooms, have private balconies as well offering unobstructed

view of the hills. These rooms have a specially allocated pri-

vate dining area where the meals would be served. With an

independent entrance this is a perfect holiday getaway,

when you want to enjoy complete privacy and exclusivity.

Private Space - Sharath & Hemant ( 2 Bedrooms )

The spacious room, Shishir features a king size bed and can accommodate one extra mattress (additional cost). It offers an exclusive outside sitting area with a stone fire pit and a specially designed en suite bathroom. This is one of the more popular rooms in the property because of the private fire pit. The dining arrangement will be done in the private bonfire area. By providing an independent entrance your privacy and exclusivity is taken care off automatically.

Private Space - Shishir ( 1 Bedroom )

This awesome bedroom, with specially commissioned art, offers spectacular views of the Ramgarh valley. Vasant is the first room as you enter the property and thus, is best if you don’t enjoy climbing up and down steps. It is also our most sought after room at the property for its ‘top of the world’ feel-ing and of course, the view. The dining arrangements will be made in the balcony. This room too has an independent en-trance so you don’t have to bother about being in proximity of strangers, giving you a total exclusive feel and privacy.

Private Space - Vasant ( 1 Bedroom )

The Grishma room includes especially curated art, stone flooring, pine wood king bed, exclusive deck and an en suite stone bath with wooden sink counter. It is an expan-sive 459 sq ft room and can accommodate an extra mat-tress (additional cost) as well. It has a private balcony with unobstructed view of the hills from the room. Food will be served in its balcony. You can enjoy complete privacy and social distancing while you are here for your holiday. This private space too comes with an independent entrance, so you can chill and relax in total privacy.

Private Space - Grishma ( 1 Bedroom )

Varsha, a cosy bedroom comes with a king size bed, spa-cious attached bath and a stone balcony. Includes specially curated art, writing desk and great views of the property and the mountains. It is 194 sq ft in size and can accommo-date one extra mattress (additional cost). This private space has an independent entrance and a small private balcony offering unobstructed view of the hills from the room. Needless to say, with all these amenities, you won’t have to share your holiday space with anyone else.

Seclude places the well being of everyone as their top priority and has therefore adapted the following measures as per WHO, Hospitality Industry and the local authorities during these tough times.

Spaces are being setup keeping social distancing in mind, so that you don’t have to share your private holiday space with any other guest

All entrances and outside areas are sanitized with a disinfectant on a regular basis

All high touch points are cleaned frequently with alcohol and sodium hypochlorite solution

All our property managers have been trained by qualified medical professionals to ensure that all necessary steps for COVID prevention are being followed

Body temperature of all staff members is monitored on a regular basis and they wear face masks at all times

Sanitizers have been placed at entrances and critical contact points and all staff members wash their hands with soap and water frequently

Guests have to wear face masks and their body temperature is taken at the time of check in. The luggage is disinfected before being allowed inside

Travel history of all guests is taken at the time of booking

wooden benches, where the beautiful murals of yellow lilies brighten

up the place. There is a bark of tree suspended from the ceilings from

which lights glow giving an illusion of fireflies sitting on the bark.

trees filling one up with the nostalgia of those innocent and carefree

days.

OUR POLICIES - PRE ARRIVAL, ARRIVAL & DEPARTUREBookings:All our guests are required to pre-pay for their bookings through our sales office or through their chosen travel agency (online or otherwise). This is the only way to guarantee the reservation.Required security deposits for bookings also need to be prepaid in order to guarantee the reservation.

Processing of refunds:For bookings with deposits, a full inspection of the accommodation(s) needs to be done before property authorization for refund is sent to the Head Office.From the time a refund is authorized by the Head Office, Seclude takes up to 10 working days to process a refund.

Seclude properties range from two rooms to fifteen rooms and due to the popularity of our brand are normally fully booked. Though we’d like to accommodate requests for early check-ins and late check-out, it is rare for us to be able to do so (additional charges below).

Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be confirmed in advance. Extra charges apply as below:

Before 6 am: 100% charges for one day as per Rack Rate for the room of the previous day*.Between 6 am -12 noon: 30% charges as per Rack Rate for the room of the previous day*.Between 12 noon - 2 pm: Complimentary*.*based on availability, and prior notification/payment.

Late Check-ins:Seclude properties do not have a 24hour reception/front desk. In order to provide our guests with the best service possible and consider the well-being of our staff, our services pause at 10 pm to resume at 8 am the next day. We have a strict, all staff retire by 11 pm policy so that they recharged and ready to serve our guests the following day.

There are no late check-ins after 10 pm. (Our kitchen takes the last order at 10 pm as well).Advance requests will be considered on a case by case basis with charges starting at Rs. 1000/- for making special arrange-ments for check-ins after 10pm.

Late Check-outs:We require our guests to check-out no later than 12 noon, to ensure that we have adequate time to prepare the room for our next guests. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and courtesy towards the incoming Seclude guests. Between 12 noon - 5pm: 30% charges as per Rack Rate for the room of the next day*.After 5 pm: 100% charges for one day as per Rack Rate for the room of the next day*.*based on availability, and prior notification/payment.

Smoking in the rooms is not allowed.

Hukkah in the rooms is not allowed (Hukkah is not allowed on any property in Himachal Pradesh - as per government regulations).

There is no room service for meals - only a limited snack menu at select locations.

All homestyle meals are served in the dining area during the time stated on the menu.

There is a minimum of Rs. 1000/ surcharge for advance requests for serving a meal in any other area (outside of the dining room) - available only at the Managers’ discretion during regular meal hours.

No outside food is permitted.Guests do not have access to our kitchen and are not allowed to cook on property.Seclude properties have standardized menu and fully staffed kitchens. In addition, specially curated meals are available for groups with advance notification/planning.

We care about your well being, if you have special needs, food allergies etc, please notify us in advance. We can discuss the possibili-ties to accommodate your dietary requirements.

Our last order for food is 10pm, and all staff retire by 11pm. (with the exception of NYE).

We provide daily housekeeping service.

For your use, we have selected handcrafted Osadhi natural guest toiletries which are refreshed as needed during your stay, but not more than once in a day. Should you require additional product, you can purchase them via the property Manager at the listed price on the product.

Following our eco-friendly, water conservation policy - we change our bed linens and towels every two days, should you want it daily, we can accommodate your request for nominal charge of Rs. 450/- per service. Please notify the Manager to arrange additional service.

Should you have a fireplace in your room, at an additional charge of Rs. 450/ our staff will light it for you - it lasts for about 1.5 hours and will be put out no later than 10pm by our staff. This is for your safety and that of the property.

Guests are required to adhere to the noise ordinance policy as per individual property.

Guests are required to wear appropriate casual attire during their stay and behave in a manner that is respectful to other guests, our staff and our property - Not adhering to a decency code on any Seclude property or a violation of our policies can result in removal from property without a refund.
