Day Itinerary

Day 1/2

Hong Kong – Hobart – Bonorong - Hobart Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and followed by a short introduction to Tasmania’s capital city, with its rich and engaging history. Continue to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary to experience Tasmanian Devils, Wombats, Wallabies, Quolls and other Australian animals first hand. This dedicated team of wildlife carers provides an invaluable service to the research and protection of native wildlife in Tasmania. Return to Hobart and check in at your accommodation. Day 3

Hobart – Bruny Island - Hobart Your guide will pick you in the morning and spend your day in Bruny Island. Traverse the Southern shores of Hobart to the seaside township of Kettering. Depart via vehicular ferry for a full day on Bruny Island. Bruny Island is a peaceful oasis where time seems to stand still. Enjoy a day of stunning scenery and indulge in quality local produce, such as freshly shucked oysters and delicious berries (include free tasting). Relax at an award-winning winery for a gourmet lunch. Then, take a stroll through the South Bruny National Park, home to the famous Fluted Cape and much of the local wildlife, including curious White Wallabies. Overnight at Hobart

Day 4

Tasmanian Seafood Seduction Cruise This morning walk the short distance across to the Franklin Wharf and embark on a culinary Seafood Seduction Cruise. Cruise down the River Derwent to Bruny Island. Take in spectacular views of the island’s coastal geology and enjoy this unique experience. Visit a local Salmon Farm and harvest oyster’s fresh from the sea. Watch your guide dive for abalone and sea urchin, and pulling a crayfish pot. Stretch your legs and stroll along one of Bruny’s deserted beaches. Back on board, savour the best of Tasmania’s produce and enjoy a delicious seafood BBQ with Tasmanian wines before returning to Hobart in the late afternoon. Overnight at Hobart

Hobart – Freycinet Peninsula

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Tasmania’s East Coast. Visit Barilla Bay Oyster Farm, with stunning views over the bay and the Coal Valley. Join an shared Oyster farm tour and learn all about the oyster from spat to table. After having an oyster shucked for you learn about Candy Abalone, processed on site. In the afternoon, continue your private trip to the Freycinet Peninsula with its exceptional beauty, pristine white sandy beaches and granite coastline. Overnight at Freycinet

Day 6

Freycinet - Launceston Today, further explore the unsurpassed beauty of the Freycinet Peninsula. Take an interpreted walk to the world famous Wineglass Bay lookout for some stunning photo opportunities. Continue your journey north, to Launceston. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Tamar Valley wine region the heart of northern Tasmania, from the Valley, to Pipers River in the north; through to Launceston and Relbia in the south, there are more than 32 vineyards within driving distance of each other. Try on some Tasmania Wine in the Valley. Overnight at Launceston

Day 7

Launceston – Cradle Mountain After breakfast, explore the scenic Cataract Gorge where the South Esk River forces its way through sheer rocky cliffs. Continue to UNESCO World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park and meet one of our local icon animals, the Tasmanian Devils at Devils@Cradle Wildlife Sanctuary. Check in to your accommodation for this evening. Overnight at Cradle Mountain

Day 8

Cradle Mountain – Dove Lake - Launceston This morning’s activity is a bush walk in the National Park on the Dove Lake Circuit (2.5 hrs), where you will immerse yourself in the beauty of this majestic setting. Learn about native flora and fauna along the way, with highlights including the ballroom forest and lakeside beaches. After lunch, return to Launceston where your guide will bid you farewell. Along the way you will have the opportunity to stop in Sheffield, a quirky rural town where history and art merge to create an entire town of murals. Overnight at Launceston

Day 9

Launceston – Hong Kong Your private chauffeur will meet you in the lobby at your accommodation 2 hours prior to flight departure to transfer you to Launceston Airport. Arrive Hong Kong in evening.
