St Fagans: National History Museum specialises in keeping and creating memories, and we will help to

make your wedding day truly memorable, for you, your family and friends. With its elegant formal gardens, woodland walks and historic buildings, the Museum

is truly one of the most romantic and unique wedding settings in Wales.

Since it opened in 1948, St Fagans has become one of the world’s best open-air museums. Over 40 original

historic buildings have been moved here to show you how the people of Wales have lived, worked,

played and worshipped through the ages. Civil wedding ceremonies are licensed in two locations at the

Museum – the beautiful Elizabethan St Fagans Castle

The Museum is conveniently located within a stone’s throw from several hotels and B&Bs and enjoys

excellent transport links.

Castle is a breathtaking setting for your ceremony. For your reception, you can combine the Castle with

up to 140 guests.

The Castle’s Main Hall and Dining Room is an intimate venue for up to 40 guests. The Hall was the height of Victorian style, decorated in dark oak with an

arms. The Dining Room was completed in 1896. Dishes were placed on a sideboard and served to the table by the family’s butler and footmen.When it comes to your

photographs, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The Castle’s

grove and an exquisite Rose Garden.

National Museum Cardiff is situated in one of Europe’s most impressive civic centres. The Museum includes displays of natural history and Wales’s new National Museum of Art. This historic environment lends an atmosphere of real style and sophistication and provides opportunities for photographs you will

treasure forever.

The National Waterfront Museum, in its unrivalled waterfront location overlooking Swansea Marina, offers a superb venue for weddings. Choose from

the atmospheric Warehouse Gallery or the Marina Balcony for a ceremony, followed by photographs

in the Courtyard Garden and reception in the glass-canopied Weston Hall.
