Japanese buddies and to

make new friends. I was

able to say some words

in Japanese to my buddy

and my buddy mostly

spoke English so she

was easy to understand.

Georgia – I found the

day really fun because

we did lots of games and

I really enjoyed the train

ride. I liked opening gifts from my buddy and learning about Japan.

Amabel – I enjoyed meeting my buddies and getting to know them. I

also liked learning about Japan. I learnt about how they live. Both of my

buddies live in small houses.

Alannah – I liked it when we did all the games and activities because I

got to do them with my buddies. I loved the train ride because I learnt

more about my buddies and was able to see all their wonderful gifts.

We are currently in week three of the CASEA Program. The focus this week is on assisting the children to recognise when they are feeling upset so that they can then stop and think about what is happening and how they can manage a situation by using “STOP, THINK, WHAT’S MY PLAN?

Warm regards,

Jodie
