PRINCESS DIANADiana Spencer was one of the most represented members of the British royal family and an iconic figure of 80s and 90s. She was admired for her charity work, in particular with people with AIDS and supporting the campaign for banning landmines. She got married with Prince Charles in 1981 and she received the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Diana of Wales. She is the Mother of Prince William and Prince Harry.Diana Spencer was born in England in 1961. Her parents were Edward John Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Frances Ruth Burke Roche, Viscountess Althorp. They divorced when she was young, so she lived with his father and siblings.She became Lady Diana Spencer after her father inherited the title of Earl Spencer in 1975. She loved music and dancing. Diana also had a great fondness for children. After attending finishing school at the Institut Alpin Videmanette in Switzerland, she moved to London. She began working with children, eventually becoming a kindergarten teacher at the Young England School.In 1981, Diana married Prince Charles when she was 20 and he was 33. The general public soon warmed to the innocence and beauty of Princess Diana, and the wedding was watched by over 1 billion people world wide. They had two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry. And in 1996, they divorced. As Princess of Wales, Diana was expected to take part in various official engagements, such as, opening of hospitals. This provided a natural outlet for her to become involved in various types of charitable work. Her natural sympathy and oneness with patients was much admired. In January 1997, she visited mine fields in Angola to inspect the clearing of landmines. Shortly before her death, June 18th Princess Diana met with Mother Teresa. Both admired each other. Mother Teresa always said Diana is my daughter. With utmost humility Diana said I am a very, very small Mother Teresa. Diana died in a car accident in 1997. For everybody she was a Children's Activist.
