What is PRINCE2 Agile?
Combines the
control of PRINCE2, with
the agility of Agile.
PRINCE2 Agile™ is the world’s most complete agile project management solution, combining the flexibility and responsiveness of agile with the clearly defined framework of PRINCE2®.
Combines Control and Governance with Agility
Control & Governance allow Agile to be used in more complex situations!
A fighter aircraft is built with a deliberately unstable airframe.
This instability gives it agility and allows it to change direction easily and adapt quickly to situations.
However, to do this still requires control and governance!
PRINCE2 Agile is for Project Delivery, not BAU activities
A project is a temporary situation, where a team is assembled to address a specific problem, opportunity or change that is sufficiently difficult that it cannot be handled as BAU
