What is a Primate

• A primate is a really smart animal. This group includes lots of amazing animals like apes and monkeys. These animals are the popular. They are the smartest animals in the world.

Things that you need to be Primate

To be a primate you need hands and feet. Every primate has these tools. They use them to grab things like food. They also use them for climbing up trees and for grooming to.

Primates have a very big brains. They are the smartest animals on the planet.

Primates are really are social animals. They are always around friends are family. They do lots of things with each other like play game and take care of each other. They all out for each other. They look for food with each other.

To be a primate you need to stand up staight.

Apes

• A ape is a type of animal that does not have a tail the animals that are in this group is the chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, and the Orangutan all of these animals are apes

Monkeys

• Monkey is a animal that has a tail the animals that are monkeys are baboons, mandrills and the golden lion tamarin

Flat faces

• Lots of primates have a flat faces. Not like most other animals do. They usually have sides on both sides of their head

Primate commutation

• Primates can commutate with each other in lots of different ways. They can kiss and hug each other. They can also use their commutations to talk to each other.

Full color

• All primates all see in full color this helps see what food that they are eating.

• Chimpanzee is about a baby chimp named Oscar that gets lost and he gets adored by a male chimp. A 3-year-old chimpanzee is separated from his troop and is then adopted by a fully-grown male.

Primates in trouble

• There are so many species of primates that are endangered in the wild. They are endangered because their habitats are starting to disappear and there are some species that are being illegally getting hunted for meat. Some of their offspring is being taken away from their mothers and being sold as pets. Some primates are being used for medical research. There are really good people that are working hard as possible to save the animals that are lot like us. Losing these animals will; be like losing a part of our family. We have to help our family before they disappear forever
