rice.

We can use noun phrases with both
countable and uncountable nouns.
The noun ‘rice’ is
uncountable.
The noun ‘noodles’ is
countable.
This is a bowl of
noodles.
This is a plate of noodles.

We can put an ‘s’ on a noun phrase to
form a plural.
