Financial Assistance
MOE believes in building an inclusive
education system and providing equal
opportunities for all to access quality
educational experience. MOE and the school
thus provides financial assistance under the
various schemes and funds to help financially
needy Singaporean students meet basic
schooling expenses and access to other
resources and programmes to support their
holistic development.
1) Ministry of Education Financial Assistance Scheme (MOE FAS)
Eligible Income Criteria: ≤ $2,750 Gross Monthly Household Income or
≤ $690 Per Capital Income
2) School-based Financial Assistance Scheme (SAC FAS)
Eligible Income Criteria: ≤ $4,000 Gross Monthly Household Income or
≤ $1,000 Per Capital Income.
3) MOE Opportunity Fund (MOE OF)
Singaporean students who are not eligible for MOE FAS and SAC FAS
can apply for the MOE OF for subsidies in access to ICT (e.g. purchase
of laptop), Overseas Learning Trips, Enrichment Programmes and
Reading Pack.
Eligible Income Criteria: ≤ $4,600 Gross Monthly Household Income or
≤ $1,150 Per Capital Income.

IMDA NEU PC PLUS Programme
Eligible students can apply for IMDA’s NEU PC Plus

• MOE FAS application forms can be obtained from the MOE website https://www.moe.gov.sg/education/financial-assistance/moe-financial-assistance-scheme-(fas) or from the General Office.
• Other Financial Assistance application to approach the school General Office.
Mother Tongue Language (MTL)
• To promote bilingualism, the MTL policy requires allstudents who are Singaporeans or Singapore PRs to studytheir respective official MTL - Chinese, Malay and Tamil*.
• The MTL provides opportunities for students to beacquainted with their heritage, strengthens their valuesand sense of cultural belonging, instilling in them a senseof rootedness.
*A non-Tamil Indian student may choose to take (a) Tamil or (b) aNon-Tamil Indian Language (NTIL) such as Hindi and Punjabi. NTILlessons are conducted by the NTIL community groups on Sat morningsat designated schools. A list of these schools can be found on theBTTSAL’s website at http://bttsal.com/index.php. All students takingNTIL should attend the weekend lessons at these centres in thedesignated schools.

• Parents will need to apply if they would liketheir child to study a different MTL.

Activating Parents Gateway in
2020
• Parents Gateway is an initiative by MOE to enable parents to interact with schools more conveniently on school matters.
• It is a digital application which you can use on your mobile devices in 2020.
• Please ensure that you have a valid SingPass login / FIN details to activate your Parents Gateway account on the 1st day of school in 2020.
Registration at school-based
Student Care Centre (SCC)
• The school-based SCC in Rosyth School is KidzTreehouse @Rosyth.
• Registration forms are available at the SCC Counter (Level 1, ISH Indoor Sports Hall) and the General Office.
• Submit your registration forms by Friday, 22 November 2019. Registration forms submitted after the 22 Nov will be considered subjected to the vacancies available.
School Dental Service
• Provides free basic dental services in the school dental clinics
• Enrol your child in the SchoolDental Programme
• Parent must give consent beforeyour child receive the services(more details will be providedon giving your consent usingyour SingPass login)

First Two Days of School
There will be briefings and talks for P1 parents during the 1st two days of school. You will also get to see your child purchase food at the canteen with his/her buddy during recess.
You may gather around the designated perimeter of the school canteen during your child’s recess.
However, please do not move beyond the designated area in the canteen.

• Parents will be issued 2 Parent Access Passes.
• Parents or guardians entering the schoolwill have to display the passes clearly.
• The passes allow access to the Parents Wait Area, the G.O., Bookshop and Dental Clinic.
• For access to all other areas in the school, parents will need to report to the G.O. first.

We would like to inform you that photographs/videos ofstudents/parents taken at all school events by the official schoolphotographers may be published on the school’s official mediaplatforms (e.g. newsletters, school website or similar platforms)and used for briefings, workshops and other educational purposes.
The school may publish photographs, videos and students’work/achievements together with the names of the students fromtime to time. Please notify the school in writing if you do not wishto grant such permission.
