Show Day Information

*Judges / Classes may be subject to change at the Organisers Discretion*

If you enter multiple classes the Organisers can not be held responsible if classes clash,

You must enter the correct arena at the start of the class.

All Classes will be held in Indoor Arena / Outdoor Warm-up Arena

Indoor classes will have a maximum number of entries first come first served,

So please don’t wait till last minute to enter these classes. If there is spaces available entries on the day will be accepted and £5 extra per class

Rules

Competitors under 16yrs old MUST wear a Current Standard Riding Hat correctly fastened at all times while showing In-Hand.

Current Standard Riding Hats correctly fastened MUST be worn by Competitors at all times while mounted.

W.S.C recommends the wearing of Body/Back Protectors.

Affiliated Arab Section Classes : Rules as per AHS rulebook All entries must be AHS registered and on submitting entry forms you must supply a

W.S.C. EVENT RULES + REGULATIONS

Conditions of Entry

The Judges decision is Final!

W.S.C reserves the right to change any pre-scheduled Judges, but will if time try to notify all affected Competitors

prior to show.

If sufficient entries in certain classes, the Organisers may if possible divide these classes into smaller groups as

appropriate (i.e. by breed, height or age)

W.S.C reserves the right to cancel or amalgamate classes in the event of insufficient entries, also to re-schedule events

if necessary.

Classes will be Judged with-in the rules of the particular section, and where appropriate with full regard to the

Affiliated Society rules and Judges code of conduct.

An exhibitor may not knowingly exhibit a horse or pony which has been bred, sold, leased, produced, broken or

trained by the Judge.

A rider/handler may not show under a Judge for whom she or he has produced a pony/horse within the previous 12

months.

W.S.C reserves the right to refuse any entry. Entries only excepted with full payment.

Entries will only be refunded if:-

1. Regrettable the show is cancelled and unable to be re-scheduled.

2. If your pony/horse is unable to compete through illness, please produce a valid signed veterinary report for a refund

to be made.

Objections shall be made in writing within 30 minutes of the event concerned and lodged with the Secretary together

with the sum of £50, which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.

Bridle numbers must be worn for Dressage.

Back numbers for Showing Shows are available for collection on the day.

Competitors are requested to note, if you’ve entered into more than one class, W.S.C can take no responsibility if a

clash in class times occurs.

Health and Safety

W.S.C has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to

be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the

instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards. Dogs at W.S.C it is preferred that dogs are not taken on busy Show days etc. for their own safety. If it’s unavoidable

and you must take your dog along with you, please keep on a lead at all times, POOP SCOOP any mess left. In the interest of safety, adults must give due consideration to children whilst riding in collecting rings and warm up

arenas. The number of horses/ponies working in the collecting ring may be limited by number and/or to entrants in the next

class only. Competitors MUST wear an appropriate strapped riding hat correctly fastened at all times whilst mounted.

Competitors under 16yrs old MUST wear a current Standard Riding Hat correctly fastened at all times while Showing

In-Hand. Stallions and colts must be sufficiently restrained at all times and handled by a competent person over 14yrs old.

Competitors may be asked to leave W.S.C if the Organisers consider a stallion or colt to be insufficiently controlled. All animals must be sound. If, in the opinion of the Judge an animal is considered to be unsound, the exhibitor will be

requested to withdraw from the competition. Please remember the Judges decision is Final! If you don’t have your

own and need any first aid equipment or a local Vets contact details please contact the Organisers. Any animal found to be suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be asked to leave W.S.C immediately. Any competitor, rider, groom, handler who acts in an abusive or aggressive manner towards any animal, or to any

person at W.S.C will be told to leave instantly, and will forfeit all entries and/or awards/prize money. Please tidy up after your Horse/Pony whilst using Waulkmill Facilities including all parking areas. Use metal box

provided for poop. + Use bins provided for Rubbish.
