In addition, Seniors and their parents are invited to take advantage of FREE tax preparation from 1:00 -7:00pm on Thursday, February 3 rd . At the same time, Senior FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) forms will be filed. Additional support and explanation of Financial Aid for College will be individually discussed with each Senior and his/her parent/guardian. So as you can see, it is a VERY BUSY time at Wyandotte! Please be a part of the activities scheduled. In this newsletter you can learn about different ways you can stay connected to the opportunities available. Finally, please continue to encourage and support your student academically. First Semester grades were better than ever! I attribute this to a lot of HARD WORK and FOCUS by students, teachers, staff and PARENTS! It is critical that you CONTINUE to hold the expectation of HIGH ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE for your student. Wednesday Tutors Needed – For

Math, Science, Social Studies, English!

Do you have the ability to help others by explaining things really well? Are you really good at a particular subject in school? Then we want YOU as a Wyandotte Tutor! We need tutors every Wednesday from 12:20 to 3pm in the west cafeteria in four content areas: MATH, SCIENCE, ENGLISH, and SOCIAL STUDIES.

You will be helping other Bulldogs understand concepts, earn community service hours, have a great resume/Vita booster and this could lead to a paid position as a Summer School Tutor. Please sign up today!!

The Junior Bulldog Dance & Color Guard Clinic is now open to current Wyandotte Students! If you’re interested in being on color guard or the Majorettes dance team next year, then this clinic is for you. This is not tryouts, but it will help you prepare for tryouts later this semester. The clinic is February 3rd and the participants will perform at half-time during the home basketball game on Friday, February 4th. Applications and payments are due so please see Mrs. Dicus in Room 323 for additional information.
