Navajo would like to welcome to the team our new Vice President of Safety,

David Lemke!

David comes to us with 10 years experience developing and managing highly

successful safety departments. He has held jobs as a Federal D.O.T. agent, a Safety

Manager, a Safety Director and Vice President of Safety. Prior to joining Navajo,

David worked at Coca-Cola as Director of Safety. His extensive background in

transportation gives him a wealth of knowledge and experience to lead our safety

department!

David and his wife Connie have been married 34 years and have three children.

They have relocated to Denver from Dallas to join us at Navajo. Please stop by

and meet David when you are at the Denver terminal. He can also be reached in

Keep IN and OUT seal records on all loads.

Make sure the Bill of Lading has the seal number on it and that it matches the seal that is on the trailer. Keep a supply of seal record forms and seals in your truck at all times. If a receiver will not sign the seal report, get the name of the person and write it on the seal report along with “refused to sign” then send in a Macro 5 notifying the OS&D department.

The only exception to this is on meat loads... you must call them at the 800 number printed on the bill. Make sure and get the name of the person you talk to and a temporary claim number. This applies 24-7 as meat companies have 24 /7 customer service. Then send in a macro 5 letting us know. ALL OS&D issues must be reported from the receiver at the time of delivery. Do not send in your empty call until the OS&D issue is resolved and your trailer is empty.
