Educational Association“Common Knowledge”
It consists of teachers, academics,
sociologists and runs the Common
Knowledge Centre, which is included in
the register of non-public educational
centres. All activities are mostly
undertaken by volunteers.

The Association carries out educational activities for society as a
whole. The mission of the Association is
disseminating knowledge and humanistic values as well as
shaping high intellectual and moral levels of the society.

Statute aims: Activities supporting science and
education and promoting life-long learning
Preparing members of the society by providing them with knowledge and skills necessary to function in a global society
Conducting pro-European educational programmes, shaping attitudes that would be favourably inclined towards European integration and providing the Polish society with knowledge and skills necessary to function properly in the united Europe

Statute aims:
Activities supporting European integration and developing contacts and cooperation between societies
Activities supporting the development of citizen society and increasing citizen competences

The aims are accomplished by the following forms of activities:
conducting courses concerning education and self –
development within different fields of knowledge and skills
organizing lectures and talks
organizing training courses and workshops
organizing conferences, seminars and discussion meetings
publishing activity
scientific and research activity
educational tourism

Projects conducted in the last yearsIn 2006 The Educational Association „Common Knowledge” received a prize – “Amber Swordtail” for „innovation and promotion of new solutions” from the Pomeranian provincial governor and the marshal of the Pomeranian province.
In 2006
the following projects were completed:
“Changes in the regional job market connected with demographic transformation” (financed by the European Social Fund)
„Volunteers 50 +” (financed by the Civil Initiative Fund )

In 2007 the Association still conducted innovative projects and participated in international educational projects.

"Law Around Us - The Law Guide" Legal Education Model for All Educational Levels" financed by the self-government of the Pomeranian province

"Learning Equality: Polish Teachers For Including Gender Enlightenment to Belorussian Educational System" with the support of Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway financed by European Economic Area Financial Mechanism, Norwegian Financial Mechanism and the Republic of Poland budget within the Fund for Non-Governmental Organizations Component Democracy and Citizen Society
"A Care Assistant for an Elderly Person" financed by The European Union from European Social Fund and state budget within the sub-action 6.1.1. “Support for people unemployed in the local labour market” of Operational Programme Human Capital

„Don’t take away our memories of those days” financed by the Ministry of National Education

Educational Association “Common Knowledge” employs permanently 3 people and 2 trainees. It has got a 3-room office and training room (98m2) equipped with an office, training hall, audio-visual and music appliances. When particular projects are undertaken, we engage experts that are bound on contracts for specific work. The number of volunteers working on a regular basis is 20 due to the programs: European Voluntary Service (EVS within the Youth in Action program) and Volunteers 50+ and 60+. Since its beginning about 20 000 people in Poland and abroad have been involved in various projects of the Association.
In 2011

Educational Association is taking part in international educational projects within "Lifelong learning programme" in Comenius, Leonardo da
Vinci and Grundtvig. It is also an organization receiving EVS volunteers (currently volunteers from
Belarus and Bulgaria).
