WHY ORGANIC PAINT?Completely Solvent and Toxin Free

Aside from the fact that the line was thoughtfully designed by color experts speciically for children's spaces, it also has the added beneit of being no VOC, odorless, and solvent-free. As opposed to

conventional paints, which contain solvents that cause irritation and serious health problems, Quiet Home Paints has none. Even paints marked as “low VOC” or “zero VOC” can still contain high quantities

of these toxic chemicals.Quiet Home Paints is made by the only paint manufacturer offering water-based, solvent-free paints

that are free of all toxins. You get the best of both worlds: a designer look and a healthy space.

WHAT ARE VOCS?Volatile Organic Compounds: Many products we have in our homes release or “off-gas” VOCs.

Studies have shown that the level of VOCs indoors is generally two to ive times higher than the level of VOCs outdoors. VOC concentrations in indoor air depend on many factors, including the: amount of

VOCs in a product, rate at which the VOCs are released, volume of the air in the room/building, ventilation rate of the area, and outdoor concentrations of VOCs.

What are the effects of VOC exposure?• Worsening asthma symptoms• Eye, nose & throat irritation

• Headaches• Nausea/vomiting

• Long term exposure to VOCs can lead to increased risks of:• Cancer

• Liver damage• Kidney damage

• Central nervous system damage

Children and people with respiratory problems may be more susceptible to illnesses from VOCs. But, limiting

exposure to VOCs is important to everyone’s good health.
