North London born singer-songwriter Zak Abel has today unveiled the video for his latest single “Love Song.” You can watch it here.

Directed by Ivana Bobic (Sigrid/Bloc Party), the video sees the 23-year-old dancing through an abandoned city in the dead of night. Moving his way through deserted streets and empty clubs, the young soul-pop singer’s passionate performance takes centre stage in a video that’s back drop is meant to embody the emotion in the track, celebrating both freedom and being alone.

“Love Song” is another example of Zak Abel’s remarkable knack for euphoric and uplifting song writing. Zak worked with legendary pop producer Steve Mac (Charli XCX/Ed Sheeran) on the track, and the partnership has resulted in a song that marries Zak’s raw and spine-tingling vocals with Mac’s trademark production. The track is proving to resonate with fans too, having been streamed 4 million times since its release.
