Spotify Music Star Experience what it takes to become a world famous music star

Build your own fan base as a DJ or Girl band A rewarding and immersive player experience

Nothing gets a DJ or girl band more excited than the fan’s enthusiasm and excitement. Press Start

created a journey that provides Spotify users a path to perform in the largest stadium in Kuala

Lumpur.

At the same time getting users accustomed to and using Spotify functionality such as playlists,

friends list and sharing to build their career across increasingly harder challenges creating more

significant playlists and likes for those playlists

We identified two major user groups with on one hand users who want to get excited and energised through EDM and on the other hand a group more focussed on a sense of belonging listening to pop and indie music.

We wanted to provide Spotify users the opportunity to step in the shoes of some of their heroes like Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Fifth Element, EvaRose or 2NE1.

Spotify is the no 1 online music streaming service in the world and has established a strong brand attracting new users to their platform and an impressive 25% conversion to Premium (paid) usage. Launching in less developed countries across South East Asia has Spotify facing less than promising conversion to Premium usage.

GoBear offers unbiased and transparent insight helping the user choose the product that fit their needs. Users who have found a suitable product are directed to the provider’s buy page. GoBear provides the user with search functionality, like filter and sort, to find a suitable choice amongst the search results. GoBear is free for its users and charges providers per click

Delivered concept● Press Start created an desktop learning experience that challenged users between 25-35 years to discover the most

convenient way of finding a suitable product● The experience leverages on GoBear’s brand identity and takes the user on a journey of finding suitable products at

their pond of plenty. The pond of plenty is the place where they can always find the most suitable products● Along the journey users are challenged to use the available search functionality to find the most suitable product

whether that is a travel insurance, car insurance or credit card● Specific user engagement elements were presented as an overlay on the regular platform so it provided a

compelling narrative for the applicable functionality

For insurers it offers a preventative health solution to reduce future payouts/risk. Additionally, Active8me gives insurers the opportunity to engage their customers more regularly, directly, meaningfully and positively.

Delivered concept● Mobile app for iOS and Android released in 2012 for the UK market. The app tracks

acceleration, cornering and braking on every journey with the accelerometers and GPS available in modern smartphones

● The app tracks 250 miles of driving and scores your performance of every journey. The overall score determines the discount the user will get. This applies to new as well as existing customers

● Additionally specific behaviors like fuel consumption, distance, smooth acceleration, braking and cornering is rewarded with badges which provide users with a sense of (shareable) status

Results● Over 200k installs across Android and iOS● App received a 4-5 rating (5,000+ reviews)● Aviva UK has proven that it can attract new customers and engage existing

customers with a meaningful challenge that requires effort before receiving a discount

● This way Aviva has build a stronger brand reputation and potentially more loyal customers reducing churn and increasing cross-sell opportunities
