Haddonstone – the UK’s leading manufacturer of fine landscape ornaments and architectural cast stonework – has won its largest ever export project! The project is a major off shore development in the Middle East state of Qatar. Namedas‘ThePearl’, theproject is claimed to be even more prestigious than ‘The Palm’ in neighbouring Dubai. Part of the project involves the creation of six enormous lions each standing an impressive 2 metres tall. Haddonstone is also supplying, 34 Large Lion Wall Fountain, 12 Eton College Fountains, 12 Medium Pool Surrounds, 40 Large Roman Jardinières, 76 Waterloo Urns and more than a kilometre of balustrading! Jon Murray, the company’s Export Manager states: “ Haddonstone is continually increasing its presence in the Middle East and has recently been awarded significant contracts across the UAE.
