The event will take place in the main lobby from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the first 30 guests will receive a free 2040 Lofts t-shirt along with a chance to win a free iPod shuffle when they sign a lease. The 2040 Lofts will offer $20 off parking, starting at $80 per month, half off the first month’s rent and free VIP loft upgrade for groups of four starting at $499 per month. Students attending University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Marquette University and Milwaukee School of Engineering are eligible for incentives. In addition, Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design students are encouraged to attend the event. MIAD students will receive discounted rates by filling out a MIAD student housing application at the 2040 Lofts. MIAD students will be offered access to the newly remodeled MIAD student floor featuring art studios with slop sinks, easels, buckets and paintbrushes. Students will sign on a per-person basis because contracts do not include liability for roommates rent. The 2040 Lofts also offer free roommate matching and include free Wi-Fi access throughout the building, a 24-hour fitness center, laundry room on-site, furniture, central air and more.

Senior Housing Consultant Kyle Radous recommends stopping by the open house because specials happen only once a year.
“We will be giving tours through our one, two, three, and four-bedroom lofts. Any student who signs a lease during the open house will be entered in a drawing to win a free iPod shuffle at the end of the event,” Radous said.
Sal’s pizza and drinks will be served.
