STORY

The beginningVu Quan and Laurent met in 2006, in the charming & electronic city of Lyon.

They were students, and involved in diverse projects.

Creative and nightouts for VQ, photography and hangovers for Lilzeon

Basically, they decided to share some projects together. It was probably a bit arrogant/selfish/provocative/whatever, but hey, it was already something.

The Boulevardier project

VQ & Lilzeon grew older and so did their ideas.

VQ launched Le Dixieme, a meta store in Lyon mixing fashion retail and creative marketing activities. Lilzeon became a digital marketer and entered in the meantime ViewsCo, a band of photographers & journalists.

They launched a very first digital, marketing and arty project called « The Fall », in 2010, with some of their Facebook friends.

It was probably the very first Boulevardier project.

On March, 16th 2011, they’ve published their very first post together.

Boulevardier is not just a random blog. The aim was to become a hub for creative projects, around a simple baseline:

looking for style echoing in the streets and the murmurs.

Right now, they act as an observatory, a think goblet and a projects launch platform.

They’ve settled some explicit statements with their readers:

We think that we can be men AND feministWe think that hipsters suck

We think that there’s a need of meaning in fashionWe also think that fashion can change the world

We think that digital is part of the creative projectsWe think that we need producers, not only curators

Episode 2: Hit Bag

In March 2012, the 2 friends launched the international version called Hit Bag. Anahi Lozza (Paris) and Constance Viet (Sydney) regularly contribute as trend spotters, on fashion, luxury, lifestyle.

Hit Bag joined Glam Media Network, and was recognized as one of the « Top 20 Up and Coming Fashion blogs » by Runway Magazine

They’ve settled regular editorial programmes with their readers:

-Analysis of social and cultural trends through a fashion prism-Monthly Cover Girls-Contests based on « You are the real models »-Editorials and shootings for brands
