First scientific RobAgri workshop
« Towards safe and reliable robots proposing new tool for agriculture »
Mobile robots for achieving agricultural operations are becoming more and more popular.
Nevertheless, the growing popularity of such robots requires to warranty not only the efficiency, but the safety too.
As a result, the question of decision making is more and more important in the framework of off-road mobile robots, in order to change the robot behavior, the task planning or even ask for human assistance.
This workshop aims at sharing last scientific advances for agricultural robotics on the three following topics: • Safety and control • Supervision and decision making for mobile robot • Interaction between mobile robots and implement

FIRA :
AN EVENT ORGANIZED BY
GOFAR GOFAR : GLOBAL ORGANIZATION FOR AGRICULTURAL ROBOTICS
16
GOFAR // MISSION AND GOALS
MISSION
To develop and promote agricultural robotics worldwide.
Areas of work:
• Annual organization of the International Forum of Agricultural Robotics,
• Participation to international and national agribusiness events,
• Dissemination and publication of contents from experts.
3
GOAL
To raise awareness among the players of the sector and support them by bringing both an
international market and scientific vision.
This implies an active participation in the development of the agricultural robotics market
through providing a promotional component with international reach.
17
GOFAR // ACTION PLAN & DIRECTORY
Since 2016, FIRA has managed to establish itself as the leading event for professionals in the agricultural robotics sector.
Launched and organized since then by Naïo Technologies, FIRA evolves today and will be carried out from now on by the
association GOFAR – Global Organization for Agricultural Robotics.
An independent organization had to emerge to make the voice of the sector ring out and develop a promotional component
that is lacking in the existing structures. This was the preamble to the creation of GOFAR last May by Axema and Naïo
Technologies, with the participation of RobAgri to the Executive Board as a member.
FIRA 2019 is hence enriched with a significant structural dimension for its 4th edition.
