1. SwissBorg was established by Cyrus Fazel and Anthony Lesoismier in 2017.

2. ICO: SwissBorg held one of the 12 most successful ICOs in Switzerland in 2017/18 and launched its crypto wealth management app in 2020..

3. In 2018 SwissBorg successfully ran one of the first decentralized referendums on the ethereum blockchain, allowing the community to vote on the team’s projects. A second referendum allowed community members to vote on the sector they would first like to engage in an ICO mentoring program.

4. From 2018 to 2019, the team grew from a dozen experts to more than 50 at the time of writing this. Thirty-three employees are working in Switzerland and the others are spread in Toronto, Canada, London, UK with some working remotely.

5. The SwissBorg Community app was launched in March 2019 as a pre-launch to the feature Wealth app. It is a gamified Bitcoin price prediction app that allows users to learn about bitcoin and bitcoin trading. It also motivates the players by giving them a chance to win rewards in Bitcoin and CHSB (SwissBorg’s Token).

6. Membership in The Financial Services Standards Association ( VQF), the biggest Swiss SRO.

7. Granted two very important licenses in Estonia in the fall of 2019. Virtual Currency Wallet enables us to have custody of digital asset wallets and the Virtual Currency Exchange license will allow us to conduct cryptocurrency trading. We can now do business in most countries in the world.

8. Our ultimate goal is to build a wealth management ecosystem that is accessible, fair and community-centric.

WHO are we?

Mission: SwissBorg’s objective is to enable the creation of a community-centric financial ecosystem that ultimately allows individuals to control their own wealth. Founded on the fundamental values of Blockchain: fairness, accessibility and trust, SwissBorg is building a crypto wealth management platform that can help individuals manage their own portfolio of crypto assets.

Coming from a background in the traditional world of finance and banking we created SwissBorg to disrupt an industry that we saw as elitist and unfair. We created SwissBorg because we believe in an investment world that eliminates individualism, greed, exclusiveness, and fears while raising trust, fulfilment, inclusiveness, and freedom.

The old world of finance is a members-only club we want to open it to the public. We believe in a world where technology and finance merge to allow all individuals to collaborate towards realizing their dreams.

WHY did we create SwissBorg?

New technologies like Blockchain can help us achieve the more equitable future that we envision.

The financial industry is lagging behind technology. We think it is high time that the old financial and banking industry embraced a new ethos made possible by our new connectedness. One that inspires and leads rather than instructs and intimidates. We need a new sensibility that allows room for mentorship and collaboration. We need a financial and banking space that reflects the new reality of large tribes coming together to solve the problems facing the world.

Our team grew from a dozen experts to more than 50 at the time of writing this. Thirty-three employees are working in Switzerland and the others are spread in Toronto, Canada, London, UK, with some working remotely.

In 2017, the year crypto bubble, we witnessed the creation of many ICO projects. Thanks to our community of contributors, we were able to raise 50M CHF from 24k contributors in 149 countries. One month after our ICO’s termination in 2018, we managed to have our CHSB token listed on HitBtc.

Despite our penchant for disrupting the old financial world, we find being fully compliant with regulations is paramount to our success. We believe that we should always be aligned with market regulators and are proud that we were granted membership by the Self Regulatory Organisation with the highest standards, VQF. This important membership enables us to be a financial intermediary and be able to conduct investment activities, KYC and AML in Switzerland and work with most countries in the world. We were happy to have been granted two very important licenses in Estonia this fall. Cyrus Fazel Founder & CEO

Born in Washington D.C. to Swiss German and Iranian parents, with 10+ years of experience in Asset Management & Algo Trading. A thought leader and influencer in the crypto and blockchain space, Cyrus is a frequent speaker spreading the idea that a decentralized, meritocratic system can reshape the future & create a more vibrant & equitable world of finance.

Anthony Lesoismier Genieux Co-founder & CSO

Of French-Armenian background, has a Masters of Science from the French Engineering University, Polytech Nice-Sophia. With 10 years of experience in asset management in France & UK working with leaders of the Industry. Anthony is a frequent speaker & thought-leader in the crypto fintech space.

Our Products

CHSB TokenA multi-utility token, on the ethereum blockchain, is the key to the SwissBorg ecosystem. Its main function is allowing community members to participate in the growth of the ecosystem. Besides a participation utility and a savings utility, the CHSB has a staking utility. Each user will have access to discounted commission fees by staking CHSB tokens.

Two Referendums on the Blockchain

We held two pathbreaking referendums on the Blockchain in 2018, putting to practice the SwissBorg protocol of Proof of Merit. Each token holder was asked to choose in which direction they’d like us to develop our showcase product. In return for their input, we rewarded them with CHSB tokens. Over 8000 people participated and received in total : CHF 125,399 & CHSB 6,522,068.88 for their contributions.
