Wheat for July delivery was up 7.25 cents to $4.8350 a bushel; July corn was 3.25 cents higher at 3.6775 a bushel; July oats were un- changed at 2.4075 a bushel; while July soybeans advanced 10.75 cents to $9.88 a bushel. Beef was mixed and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. June live cattle was off .22 cent to $1.5090 a pound; Au- gust feeder cattle rose .83 cents to $2.1470 a pound; while June lean hogs were up 1.30 cents to $.8120 a pound. Treasurer’s Of� ce re-minds the public that the � rst half of the 2014 (pay-able in 2015) real estate taxes and the � rst half of the 2015 mobile home taxes are due and payable on April 30, 2015.

You can use the Silver Drop Box on the North Side of the Government Center for payments or bring them in to the of� ce. If you mail the pay-ments they MUST have an April postmark. Mail-ing address is Yankton County Treasurer 321 W. 3rd St. Suite 107 Yankton, SD 57078.

Interest will be charged May 1.
