Platform: Zoom Breaking news According to the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), the Japanese Government launched a support program for businesses to diversify their supply chains in ASEAN countries. 30 businesses have registered to participate in the program so far, including 15 enterprises want to expand factories in Vietnam. Vietnam has proven to remain an attractive investment destination for foreign enterprises thanks to its relatively developed infrastructure along with improvement in living standard. Despite of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vietnam is expected to quickly become an attractive business market. This year, “METALEX Vietnam 2020” is going to be converted to an online format to keep Vietnam’s machine tools & metalworking industry connected. Virtual METALEX Vietnam 2020 Exhibition would enable both exhibitors and visitors to attend virtual meetings and business matching events, machinery showcase, tech talks and many more features. Furthermore, the exhibition promises to be an one-stop destination for industrial community with the cooperation with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Ho Chi Minh City, Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC), and Ho Chi Minh City Centre of Supporting Industries Development (CSID) to introduce "Supporting Industry Show 2020” to strengthen the long-term relationship between the Vietnam-Japan supporting industries. The virtual joint exhibitions will be taking place from 23 – 24 October 2020, starting from 09.00 to 17.00 hrs.
