St. Nicholas Church

14. Century - People of Prešov built St. Nicholas church 1711, 1788 - big repairs after fires - with a big organ

1989 - the last repair - legnth 54,7 m - width 34,45 m - height of tower 71 m

Saltern

The main objects:   Gápeľ - a mining equipment above the Leopold shaft               - used for brine mining and it was horse-driven  Salt storehouse - boiled salt has stored since 1580                               - 7 store rooms – capacity of each was 168 000 kg - fire in 1986   A bell tower  - to announce the beginning of work shifts (later a fire)                          - put out service in the middle of 1920s

Jewish synagogue

1898 - Kollacsek and Wirth built the Orthodox synagogue - austere neo-Roman facades 1880 - the Orthodox community has built outside the city walls 1928 - came into existence an exhibition of the Museum of Jewish Culture - the building is still today used as a house of prayer

Caraffa’s prison

1896 - Michal Bosák left to USA - he is signed on the 10 dollars note 1921 - building named after Michal Bosák - on the building are 8 statues:
