    Background of the ResearchFood is the main ingredient needed by all living

    things on earth. Living things can not survive by anymeans without the food. Food has a variation, in terms ofboth form and its content. Examples Protein. Protein isone of the important factors for the body, which work toimprove the body's cells are damaged. Daily food

    containing egg protein example.Eggs including foodstuffs daily consumption

    figures, particularly in Indonesia. Eggs are commonlyconsumed chicken eggs and duck eggs. However, manycomplaints arise from a breeder laying hens. They often

    find that the eggs is rotted before the eggs sold ifconditions did not sell. While wearing the refrigerator isan ineffective and costly of the electricity used. So it isnecessary as an alternative way that can be easy to useand cheap.

    Wage Asri C-20 Sidoarjo.

    Procedure Prepare tools and materials

    Prepare eggs and put to the cups ex-mineral water. Give label on each cups:

    A : Origin Egg (No preserver material)

    B : Egg with cooking oil

    C : Egg with Margarine

    D : Egg with Vaseline Give each egg with preserver material, based on the label

    Put all of eggs to room with normal temperature.

    Observe it every week.

    Conclusion:

    I did this experiment for 7 week. In this experiment, can conclude

    that Vaseline and margarine are most effective materials on preserving

    the eggs. Cooking oil just can preserving the egg 1 week longer time

    than normally egg. Vaseline and Margarine can form more thickness

    layer than cooking oil. Cooking oil difficult to forming thickness

    membrane because cooking oil easy to melt.
