SAFECOM 1

SAFECOM 1 is the next generation of accommodation vessels, with anexceptional commitment to SAFEty + COMfort (SAFECOM). SAFECOM 1offers a wide range of existing and potential capabilities to service offshorefields and structures. This Accommodation Field Development Vessel (AFDV) isequipped with dynamic positioning (DP2), features highly comfortable hotel-styleaccommodation with multiple office, conference and meeting rooms. A largewooded deck space allows for storage, supplies and workspace and isequipped with a pedestal mounted crane of up to 300T.

SAFECOM 1 is designed to work adjacent to fixed and floating offshore structuresin benign to intermediate waters. This field development vessel is outfitted tovery high standards with 400 berths in single, double, and four man cabins, allen suite. There is a 100% redundancy in the accommodation support systems.

SAFECOM 1’s station keeping characteristics make it suitable to accommodateand transfer personnel in a variety of environments. It is prepared or can befitted-out for the following functions:

The AFDV is classed DP2 with six thrusters. The deck is fitted to accept apedestal seating an optional telescopic gangway. For operational flexibility,the unit is also fitted-out with an 8-point mooring system.
