Schoology is our Learning Management System, through
BCPS One.
You are now ready to sign into your bcps account. The username consists of 3 letters and 3 numbers (unless you don’t have a middle name, then it will be only 2 letters.) Passwords are 8 characters total.

Schoology• Students should navigate to their courses for information
about:• Class Schedule• Google Meet Nickname• Digital Lessons
• ELA• Math• Science/Social Studies/Health• 1 for each Special Area• MAY also have resource teacher materials (ESOL, Special Education)
• Updates from Teachers
This is an example of what the student course dashboard looks like in tile view. Also note that updates and messages might be sent to students through Schoology. A number will appear in a circle on the envelope/bell icon letting you know that there is a message to read.
Signing into a Google Meet
Google Meet is a video-communication
service developed by Google.

Step 1: Type in the URL meet.google.com and you will land on a colorful page. On this page you will double check that you are sign in to your BCPS account by looking in the upper right-hand corner for your child’s first initial.
Click on the initial, the drop down should show [email protected] If it does not ,you would simply click on switch account.
Once you click on continue, this is what you will see next. There are 2 buttons, one for the microphone and the other for the camera. White means it is on, and red
means it is turned off.
You are now in the meeting, this slide shows that the camera is turned off, but the microphone is on. The center icon is a phone, at the end of you meeting you click on it to hang up.
