THE NEW LEXUS RXWhen you’ve had success, it’s tempting to rest on your laurels. But that’s not how the RX is built. From the distinctive new grille to its Apple CarPlay® support for your iPhone®, the RX has been redesigned inside and out. It’s also the most connected RX yet, now with Android AutoTM, Amazon Alexa compatibility and an available 12.3-inch touchscreen. The whole RX family features enhanced handling and a smoother ride, from the fuel-efficient and high-performance hybrid to the available F-SPORT and the RXL with third-row seating. Always refining, always reinventing. Some things never change.

American artist Kelley Ogburn is best known for her figurative and floral compositions, combining gestural lines and raw mark-making with sim-ple washes of color and bold strokes. In these moments of creation, Kelley addresses the whole of life — acknowl-edging struggle, but further noting its balance by beauty — challenging the viewer to fully accept all that life brings. Kelley’s desire to create was cultivated from a young age when she first began to take regular art classes. Though it was while studying in the ad-vanced placement art program during high school that she developed her love

for gesture drawing and the contour line — still prevalent in her work today. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Auburn University where she further explored different forms of mark making and the human response to them.

Exhibiting mainly in the south-eastern United States, Kelley’s work exists in collections throughout the country and in private collections internationally. She has shown as a featured artist in Neiman Marcus, and was selected to be the fea-tured artist for the Grand Summer Ball and the Festival of Flowers. Kelley cur-rently lives and works in Fairhope, Ala-bama.

How we save lives, celebrate lives and lead the fight for a world without cancer.

A few examples of how we’re making an impact in South Alabama:A few examples of how we’re making an impact in South Alabama:

• We have identified transportation as one of the most significant barriers to accessing and completing cancer treatment. Through our Road to Recovery program, we have awarded Community Transportation Grants across the state, including grants to USA Mitchell Cancer Institute, Infirmary Cancer Care and Southern Cancer Care totaling $25,000. Last year in Alabama, we provided 5,155 rides to and from treatment through Community Transportation Grants and 653 rides through volunteer-driven Road to Recovery.

• The American Cancer Society is one of the most trusted sources of cancer information and resources in the world. We are continually updating our website, cancer.org, with the latest information and guidance on COVID-19 for cancer patients in addition to news, prevention recommendations, and local programs and services. Last year, an estimated 680,700 people in Alabama visited cancer.org for answers to these and other cancer-related questions. Also, our Cancer Information Specialists are here to help day and night at 1.800.227.2345 with assistance on cancer-specific questions and even navigating health insurance systems. Last year, more than 7,200 people in Alabama received personalized guidance from ACS staff and partners.

• We know that the most significant developments in the fight against cancer are the results of research and we are currently funding 8 cancer research grants in Alabama, totaling over $4 million. The success of our re-search grant program is exemplified by the fact that 49 American Cancer Society-funded researchers have received a Nobel prize for their work.
