A minimalistic album cover is very pain and simple. It can be a still photo that will enable the audience to relate to what it is. It doesn't’t always catch the eye of the audience, but can sometimes work really well to entice the audience.

A portrait album cover is usually a close up of the album artist, it normally fills the whole album cover. The artist will always look perfect and have no flaws. These sort of album covers are normally used for solo artist and not bands

Black and white album covers are usually used on a solo artist and by using black and white It can make the image look a lot more interesting. It can also enhance the artists beauty.

A Hand drawn album covers is when the album has the effect that’s its been hand drawn. This is a very effective style of album cover as it makes it more personal to the artists idea of the album.

Grunge/gothic usually depends on the genre of the artist music. It enhances images and is created by using graphic design. This sort of design is usually used on bands than solo artists.

A digital album cover is very effective in capturing a young audience attention. Ditital covers have quite a modern look to it, and that’s why a younger audience relates to it. It can take pictures that are dull and boring and make them much more interesting.
