Slides

• Keep them simple– Less text, more images– Limit slide transitions and animations– Have one visual theme

Text

• Large text 24+• San Serif fonts,Verdana, Arial,

Trebuchet• No copying and pasting

Colours

• Two or three colours per slide• Good contrast between text and

background• Dark on light – easy to read

Images

• Large good quality • Relate to text• Enhance presentation

Rehearsal

• Don’t just read out the slides• Have more to say• Be prepared to answer questions• Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse

Be confident and enthusiastic

Make eye contact with the audience

Speak clearly and politely
