It is due to inadequate study skills.
Good study habits are important for success inschool.

What you eat can affect yourmood,memory,clarity of thought.
Food that are slow to digest, divert blood frombrain & reduce mental sharpness.
Key nutrient ,choline a neurotransmitter,acetylcholine has major role in memory.
Found infish,meat,egg yolk, Soya product,oatmeal,rice,peanuts.

Sound :quite /study to music. Lighting :it does make a difference.See your
learning preferences.
Temperature : see the preferences for
cool/warm environment.

STUDY HABITS
Begin study no less than 30-90 minutes aftermeal.
Never study in 30 minutes of going to sleep.
Prioritize !!make a list of what you intend tostudy.
If possible ,study no more than 30 to 40 minutes
at a stretch,take a break after study. In break time ,think about other things.
In class room to avoid distraction sit in front
row.

Avoid : indigestible food,excessiveliquids,stimulants like coca,tea,coffee,late
dinner,discussion about previous paper.
Plan: relaxation for the next morning,shortwalk, music,or jogging .
Attempt: no new revision Eat:light & nutritive food.
