JACis? What is it?
Youth open centre “JACis” is non-formal education organization financed by local municipality. Centre is open for youngsters from 12 until 25 years. All activities are for free.
Three possibilities to get involved in action:

3. Participate in Youth Exchange projects (Program Youth in Action)
First one
In our centre you can: play table games Read youth magazines and
books Make creative things Sing karaoke, play guitar,
piano; Play pool Use computer, internet Meet interesting people and
discuss actual questions Participate in some hobby
groups like photo, art- therapy
Our first EVS volunteer
Our participants have enjoyed his stay here. He took active part in all our activities and had a lot of helpful ideas.
In 2005 Saygin Kutly came from Turkey to work as a volunteer in JACis. It was our first experience with EVS.
Third: JACis Participate in Youth in Action Programe
We have realized project in Latvia called “Let’s form a wider ring” together with partners from Lithuania, Estonia, Russia Belorus and Ukraine in 2008. The purpose of the project was to show the importance of the multinational environment for harmonious development and becoming of the person in the
________European context.
In February 2009 we took part in a project in Poland named “Przestrzeń szeroko otwarta”. The aim of the project was education with the help of sport activities.
In March 2009 project in Estonia “The streets of our opportunities”. It continued the earler virtual project called “Town where I live”. The aim of the project to get more information: how youth can spend their free time in the street.
In October 2009 Youth Open Centre “JACis” participated in International Youth Exchange
project named “SprÓbuj inaczej” in Poland

Dancing, dancing and again dancing. Dancing project in Poland. Participants from Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Estonia. Dancing on the streets, in the hall and even uder water.
