GENERAL INFORMATION
Composed of big coffee beans, mostly flat, similar size
coffee bean, retained screen above fourteen (14), with
tolerance of one point five (1.5) percent (%) lower than
that screen but retained by the screen twelve (12) , meticulous benefit and duly selected.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have characteristic color
− Must have characteristic flavor and aroma, must be free of defective
flavors like leaven, product chemical, rust, etc.
− Must be free of live insects.
− The maximum level of pesticides must be in accordance with as
indicated in the Codex Alimentarius.
SPECIFIC
REQUIREMENTS
Humidity: Not to exceed twelve (12) percent (%).
− Defects must be below the limits referred to in Resolution No. 05 of 2002
of the Committee National Coffee Growers of Colombia.
− Smell: the product must have the characteristic odor, in any time must
present smell of mold, yeast or product chemist.
− Color: coffee will have a uniform color appearance, not lots of coffee
will be accepted, in which predominate incomplete coffee beans, in
which is ostensible color variation caused among
others by different moisture of coffee beans or harvest.

ORIGEN COLOMBIA (HUILA Y CUNDINAMARCA)
GENERALIDADES Compuesto de grano grande, principalmente plano, parejo, retenido por
encima de malla catorce (14), con tolerancia del uno punto cinco (1.5) por ciento (%) inferior a esa malla, pero retenido por la malla doce (12), de esmerado beneficio y debidamente seleccionado. Según Norma Federación Nacional de Cafeteros.
REQUISITOS GENERALES Debe tener color característico
Debe tener sabor y aroma característico, debiendo estar libre de sabores
defectuosos como fermento, producto químico, moho, etc.
Debe estar libre de insectos vivos.
El nivel máximo de plaguicidas debe estar de acuerdo con el con lo indicado
en el Codex Alimentarius.
REQUISITOS ESPECÍFICOS Humedad: No debe sobrepasar del doce (12) por ciento (%).
Los defectos deben estar por debajo de los límites contemplados en la
Resolución No. 05 de 2002 del Comité Nacional de Cafeteros.
Olor: Deberá tener el olor característico, en ningún momento
presentará olor a moho, fermento o producto químico.
Color: El Café tendrá una apariencia uniforme en Color, no se
aceptarán lotes en los que predominen los cafés denominados
"Banderados" o "Sarabiados", en los cuales es ostensible la variación
de colores producida entre otros por granos de diferente humedad o cosecha.
