Notes The present tense of regular –ar verbs is formed by dropping the ending –ar
of the infinitive and adding the personal endings, -o, -as,-a,- amos, -áis,-an. The subject pronouns Vd. And Vds. Are usually expressed in Spanish. The
other subject pronouns (yo, tú, él, ella, nosotros, vosotros, ellos, ellas) are usually omitted, unless they are needed for clearness or emphasis.
hablo- I Speak hablan- They speak Vd.- habla- You speak ella habla- She speaks ella y yo hablamos- She and I The feminine forms of nosotros and vosotros are nosotras and vosotras tu and vosostros (the familiar forms) are used when addressing close
relatives, intimate friends, or small children. In Spanish America, the ustedes form is used instead of vosotros.
