Drink Think Activity Title - Mouse Moves Audience (for kids include age group) – preschool Materials/Resources Needed - The book, “Boom Chicka Rock”, imagination Activity Directions (give detailed, step by step instructions) – Start reading the book and each time an opportunity to move presents itself-grab it! For example, on page two the script says, “Let’s dance and party and Rock and Roll”. Have the kids make a few dance moves. Page 3 says to “tip-toe, tip-toe”. Get the kids ups and on their toes. Do the moves with them to give them an idea of what to do. It will get them started. Have everyone rock around the room and then get back to the book. It’s okay if there are a few pages with no movement. Play it by ear with the group of kids you have and how much time to spend. You may choose to “roar” instead of going around the room again. When the book reads “throw him by the tail”, just make the motion. End the story on a quiet note so the kids can calm down more easily.

This shows how sweets/high fat snacks make you get bigger, but food from MyPyramid keeps you healthy.
