National museums of Kenya invites you to submit sealed application for pre-qualification for supply of good and services for the financial year 2016/2017- 2017/2018

Interested eligible candidates may obtain further information by inspecting the tender documents at the office of the Principal Procurement officer, National Museums of Kenya Headquarters, along Museum Hill Road, Nairobi. To be eligible, the candidate must prove that they qualify to participate in public procurement by providing the following as part of the mandatory documents:-

The bidders must comply with all the instructions, terms and conditions and ensure that all the forms required are properly completed and submitted to National Museums of Kenya and addressed to;

ThisprequalificationdoesnotamounttoanycontractualobligationonthepartofNational Museums of Kenya and National Museum of Kenya is not obliged toinvite any quotations from any or all candidates who have expressed theirinterestbyrespondingtothisinvitation.

NationalMuseumsofKenyahavetherighttoinvitequotationsforgoods,worksandservicesinanyofthecategoriesasandwhenrequired.NationalMuseumsof

Kenya reserve the right to accept or reject any tender without assigning anyreasonsforthedecision.

SECTION2:GENERALINSTRUCTIONS

1. Carefullyreadtheinstructionsbeforecompletingthequestionnaire.Notethatsubmissionoffalseinformationwillleadtoautomaticdisqualification.

2. Responses to the prequalification questionnairemust be in accordancewiththerequirementsforinformationinthedocuments.

3. Answers to the questionnaire should be relevant to the good, services orworksappliedforandshouldbeasclearandconciseaspossible.

4. Submission of tenders: The application for prequalification should besubmittedinsealedenvelopesproperlylabeledwiththecategorynumberandthecategorydescription.

5. The documents should be signed by authorized representative of theorganization, stamped and submitted with relevant supporting documentssuch as relevant licenses, references, certificates and any other informationthattheapplicantwishtoconsidered.

Tobeeligible,thecandidatemustprovethattheyqualifytoparticipateinpublicprocurementbyprovidingthefollowingaspartofthemandatorydocuments:-
