ODASCO is a business organization, which instituted its operation one

decade ago in focusing and catering to the requirements of the Water, Oil, Gas,

Power, Steel and other industries mainly in Automation and Instrumentation and

related fields as fiber cable technology. The renewed focus on our basic

Electrical Works

ODASCO is committed to providing complete automation solution and in line with

our commitments we do offer services for complete electrical works related to

automation solutions. ODASCO has the capacity to execute turnkey projects in the

low voltage to medium voltage domain.

We have very good experience and skilled Electrical engineers, most reliable

products, services and knowledge to cater to the demands of electrical projects and

to provide overall customer satisfaction.

We do supply, design, engineering, modification and installation of power

distribution panels for low voltage to medium voltage solutions. We provide highly

reliable and efficient solutions to meet the power requirements of fixed and variable

speed 3-phase pumps upto 415 Volts, motorized valves, field instrumentation and

control panels. Additionally, we carryout complete RTU panel wiring design, panel

manufacturing and installation. We also supply and install uninterruptible power

supplies and redundant power sources to ensure the smooth running of critical

operations.

To meet with the highest standards of safety, our team of skilled engineers can

devise schemes and provide solutions for the proper earthing of distribution panels,

control panels and instrumentation. Moreover, we provide complete solution for

routing, laying and termination of single-phase and three-phase power cables upto

415 Volts.

INTRODUCTION:

ODASCO as a fast growing organization in Instrumentation and Control has

expanded its services to include providing Fiber Optic (F.O.) technology to

accommodate the ever-growing demand for Data communication & Networking

solutions through Optical Fiber cable.

To realize the objective of having the best standard in F.O. technology ODASCO

personnel have gone through extensive training with the instructions from qualified

instructors and experienced engineers from Corning & Pirelli Cable Systems, the

worlds leaders in Fiber cable technology.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

ODASCO can offer consultancy, LAN and WAN solutions, F. O. cable installations,

Remote access solutions, Testing and Diagnostics and Training

We supply, Design, Install and Commission all F.O. related equipment.

We do have in-house capabilities to design and implement the latest Fiber optical

techniques used in LANs and WANs, where we use the state of the art techniques

in Switching techniques to reach very high speeds in Industrial Ethernet networks

with speeds up to 100Mbit/sec and highly redundant Networks.

1 -OMAN

- Ministry of Housing, Electricity and Water (MHEW) of the Sultanate of Oman, Water supply schemes and construction of transmission pipelines, pumping stations at Al Sharqiya region, 2007

Main Contractor: M/s. Societe Egyptienne Dentreprises (S.E.D.E.)Complete Control and Instrumentation package including design, engineering, supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The SCADA system involves 5 Master RTUs using Siemens dual redundant S7-400H PLCs and 18 Mini RTUs using Siemens S7-200 PLCs for remote control and monitoring of 10 pump stations, several reservoirs and motorized valves. The Mini RTUs are connected with the Master RTUs through Multi Point Interface Network at a speed of 187.5kbits/s. The Master RTUs are linked with each other and the Central SCADA Center via 400 Km redundant fiber optic ring network at a speed of 100Mbits/s. The system also uses Leak detection software for detecting faults in pipelines. ODASCOs scope also includes power distribution panels and all associated electrical works for RTUs and instruments.

Co, 2006Complete SCADA and Control package includes design, supply, installation,commissioning and training for the complete scope. The SCADA system involved four pumping stations utilizing Siemens SIMATIC S7-300 dual redundant PLCs and WinCC Flexible HMI system for process control and monitoring.

- Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA). DEWA Pumping Station, 2007Working as a subcontractor for M/s Ghantoot Gulf for the complete scope of engineering, design and supervision of the installation works.


- Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA). Najmah Pumping Station Phase IV, 2007Working as a subcontractor for M/s Ghantoot Gulf for the complete scope of engineering, design and supervision of the installation works.

- Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA), Water Transmission from Tap Off-04 to Hamdah P.S and Bedai P.S., 2007Main Contractor: M/s. Bin Ham Electromechanical Ent. Co., 2007Complete SCADA design and supply of hardware components for two remote stations with one utilizing Hot redundant S7-400H PLCs and the other utilizing software redundant S7-300 PLCs to provide a highly available redundant system. The two remote stations are linked through GPRS and a back-up ISDN line, and have a fiber optic connection with the existing stations. In order to have seamless integration with the FWTS the software for the TapOff-04 is done by OEM.

Irrigation Pipe Lines from Sweihan to Al Maha Forest & Ajban farm.Complete SCADA and Control package includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and training for the complete scope. Scope of work includes supply, installation and commissioning of four RTU panels, 65 Km F.O cable, instrumentation and SCADA software. Complete RTU panel wiring design, modification of LV distribution panels and power cable routing and terminationwork. Modifications for the SCADA (LSX) was carried out by OEM.

- Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). Shuweihat Water Transmission Scheme.600 Km of fiber optic cable connecting four pumping stations for communicating data between the same stations.

- Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). Shuweihat Water Transmission Scheme.Complete control package including design, supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The control system involved using S7-300 with software redundant software. The SCADA parts cover 10 RTUs connected to four pump stations using redundant fiber optic cable and OTN devices. The complete system runs at 600 Mbit/s speed.


- Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). Shuweihat Water Transmission Scheme. ( Installation)Complete installation work for the instruments, RTU panels, UPS panels, main distribution panel and fiber optic patch panes.

- Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). DN 1200 Transmission Pipe line from Taweelah to Unit III.Supply and installation of one RTU, communication equipments and F.O. Cable, the RTU will control the instruments on the same pipeline at Unit III location, F.O cable is connecting between the new RTU and the existing PLC panel at unit III control room. Modification in the existing power distribution panels and automatic changeover mechanism at LV panel is also incorporated. SCADA software modification at Unit III control room is done to incorporate all instruments connected to the new RTU.

The SCADA system involved using Siemens SIMATIC S7-400H Dual redundant system and WinCC MMI system. The SCADA part covers 18 RTUs connected to the master station using fiber optical connection. The Complete SCADA system runs at 100Mbit/sec speed.

- Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). Seih Gharabah Well Water Transmission Scheme. Main contractor ASTRACO Construction.Complete SCADA and Control package includes design, supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete scope. The SCADA system involved using Siemens SIMATIC S7-400H Dual redundant system and WinCC MMI system. The SCADA part covers 14 RTUs connected to the master station using fiber optical connection with 3 major braches. The Complete SCADA system runs at 100Mbit/sec speed.

Main contractor Egyptian Contracting Company, SEDE.Complete I/C package includes design, supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete control and Instrumentation. The SCADA system involved using Siemens SIMATIC S7-400H Dual redundant system and WinCC MMI system.

The system is based on Siemens latest PLC control system, and utilizes the latest techniques in industrial communications using fiber optic technology.

The SCADA system consists of 16 remote RTUs using S7-200 PLCs for remote monitoring and control of the water distribution in farms. The remote RTUs are connected with master RTUs and the central station via a fiber optic profibus network.

Main contractor KSB and Masoud Abu Dhabi.Complete I/C package includes design, supply, installation, commissioning and training for the complete control and Instrumentation. The SCADA system involved using Siemens SIMATIC S7-400H Dual redundant system and WinCC MMI system.

Scope of supply includes Automation system design, programming and commissioning.

- Al Khaleej Sugar Plant/ Jebel Ali Dubai Distributed Control SystemReplacement of existing ABB DCS with Siemens PCS 7 distributed control system. New system includes 4500 signals. Khalifas cow farm (Al Ain, UAE)

Supply, installation, and commissioning for three remote monitor and control

with communication systems at the three locations, and one central

monitoring system at AADC at Al Ain.

- Variable Water-Jet for swimming pools at three Palaces of H.R.H SHK

Zayed (Abu Dhabi & Dubai Road, UAE)

Supply, installation, and commissioning for three local control panels at three

locations, providing a controllable variable span and pressure for water Jets,

in order to maintain the optimized flow of showers as required.

- Aqaba Royal Palace, BMS VAV intelligent controller (Aqaba, Jordan)

Supply, installation supervision, and commissioning for BMS system. VAV

intelligent controller has been utilized to provide the perfect climate control,

energy savings and meet visitors satisfaction. Equipment installed includes

S600 Apogee, 2000 data point, as well as hardwired integration.


- Al Yarmook General Hospital BMS (Irbid, Jordan)

Supply, installation supervision, and commissioning for complete BMS

system for monitoring and controlling hospital facilities, such as chillers,

boilers, air hanging units, as well as fan coil units. Special application

program has been implemented to control temperature, humidity, and air

pressure inside the medical operation rooms. Equipment installed includes

S600 Apogee, 4000 data point, as well as hardwired integration.

Project Description Water transmission from Sweihan reservoir to Al Maha reservoir, Bida Khalifa 1 and 2 pumping stations. Water transmission is established through 1000mm dia Pipeline.Control and monitoring of the water transmission network is established from the existing SCADA control center in Ajban Pumping Station.

supply, installation, commissioning and training. Scope includes; Supply of Siemens SCADA system based on S7-300/S7-

400H redundant PLC controllers. Supply and installation of E&H Pressure switches. Redundant OTN (Open Transport Network) for

Contract: Unit IV Pump Station (W63 Shubaisee)Project Description Pump station with 9 pumps fixed speed 1.25 MW fully

equipped with all necessary Vibration, temperature monitoring system, soft starter, etc..

ODASCO Scope: Complete control, Instrumentation package covering design, supply, installation, commissioning and training. Scope includes; Supply of Siemens DCS system based on hot dual

redundant PLC controllers with all LAN networks, servers, Remote terminal units, switches. The DCS system supplied by ODASCO was responsible for the complete operation of all pump station components. No third party control system were existent.

Full scope of Field instruments from E+H Complete operational stand alone Vibration and

Monitoring system for the pumps from SKF with multiple vibration and temperature sensors for each pump.

Pump Monitoring Panels for direct control of pumps. Same shall operate the pumps either by receiving direct commands from the DCS system or independent control in case of DCS failure.

Fiber cable interface with other main pumping station through dual redundant Fiber links with distance up to 26KM (unit III) and 250KM Shuweihat desalination plants. Both joints were supplied and connected by ODASCO Automation.
