every citizen. The learning of Economics
acquaints the students to participate
effectively in economic and social affairs
and to take intelligent decision in day to day
life. At the same time democratic system
which we have adopted will succeed if we
win the race on economic fronts.
A workshop on preparing module on difficult areas in economic for class
12 th for PGT (economic) was organized from 27
th august -31st august 2018. The
aim of the workshop is to look into teaching learning process from the learner’s
angle. An attempt has been made by the resource person and participants to
enhance learning economics by correlating it with real life situation and by using
other techniques for class XI and XII.
During the workshop deliberation and discussions are held for content
enrichment, identified diversities among the students and handouts work prepared
to strengthen learning among the students. Some flavors shave also been added in
the course by including content on preparing projects on economics.
I hope that the self learning module prepared in the workshop will definitely
enhance the quality and technique in its full glory.

Day -1 (27.08.2018) Five days workshop for PGT Eco for
preparing self learning modules on difficult areas
in class XII from 27 August 2018 to 31 August
2018 in which participants from five regions
participate was inaugurated with lightening of
Lamp ceremony & seeking blessings from
Goddess Saraswati in the presence of Course
Coordinator , Resource Persons , ZIET faculty &
Participants.
Mrs Vandana Mahajan & Dr Asad Ahmad . She
also introduced the ZIET faculty. Ms Renuka
Chawla started the business of the house with the
objectives of the course. Resource persons formed
region wise five groups & they also enquired from
the participants about the assignments assigned to
them as home work. Ms Renuka Chawla along
with the effective resource persons kept motivating
the floor to reach at the level of the students.
Tea at 11 am was followed by a guest
lecture on National income accounting by Ex
Assistant Professor of Local MCM DAV College
Ms Rama Kashyap . Post retirement feeling & age
could not stop Ms Rama from showing her
gratitude towards the subject . The way she
executed the topic fetched her appreciation from
all of us.
Ahmad on the use of ICT in teaching of
Economics for which he has been awarded by
KVS . The presentation motivated each &
everyone that led to the interaction of thoughts &
movement in the pursuit of excellence.

Day – 3 (29.08.2018) The proceedings of day three
began with organisation of assembly by
Marshall group i.e. Delhi region. Sh.
S.C. Shukla coordinated the assembly
while Sapana ma’am presented the
thought. Sh Naveen Verma made us
aware of the current economic news.
Suruchi ma’am shared with us a special
item related to economics in which she
shed light on “Ayushman Bharat”- The
health related scheme of Government of
India. The assembly concluded with the
report of day two reported by Subhasini
ma’am.

was interesting and totally engrossed the
attention of each participant.

Day – 5 (31.08.2018) The session started with morning assembly by
(Gurugram region)-Robins group. Lab-pe-aati hai
dua was a very holy prayer. A beautiful thought

presented by Sanjay sir. Economics news was
presented by Mr Sanjeev Sir in which he stated
that India will become 5 th largest economy arun
jetli supported ‘demonetisation’ and benefits of
of demonetisation, compulsory insurance of 3
years for car and 5 years for bike. Special item
was presented by CP singh sir on ‘positive
attitude’.
