Welcome to PREPARE TO PROFIT WBe Canada’s 2015 Procurement summit This week the world celebrates International Women’s Day. The theme for this year’s International Women’s Day celebrations is “Make It Happen” and that is exactly what we have envisioned for you today. We want to give you the tools, strategies and connections to take your business to a whole new level.

It is time to celebrate the achievements of women, to explore the opportunities available for women business owners to work with corporations and to make the connections and introductions that facilitate success. Supplier Diversity is a strategy through which corporations will contract with women-owned businesses to provide products and services. In response, Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) have to be ready. Today we bring together experts, corporations, government and women business owners who are poised to partner with each other. Whether beginning your supplier diversity journey, looking to enhance your relationships or as a corporation, discovering the wealth of possibilities that our WBEs possess, Prepare to Profit 2015 holds untold potential and new opportunities for everyone. This month WBE Canada celebrates our 6th anniversary of being a certification council. WBE Canada’s strong leadership team on the ground has a proven track record in working with corporations, organizations and governments and in serving the women’s business market. Our Board of Directors has a passion and on-going commitment to helping women entrepreneurs grow and succeed nationally and globally. WBE Canada is about making the future happen.
